It freaked me out when I first played because bloody hell!
One - the deeper you went into the Deep Roads, the less Darkspawns you came across to the point you came across none! Does that mean there is only so far Darkspawn will go down? Does that mean the Archdemons are more likely to be on higher surfaces rather than the lower ones?
For that matter - why don't the Darkspawn go down any further? Was the titan keeping them out?
Now remember what Bianca said - Lyrium is alive, which how they became blighted and thus created red lyrium. Now - we find out that Lyrium is essentially Titan's blood - does that mean there is a chance a titan had been infected with the blight and thus is the reason it's spreading? - remember in II - Bartrand says that the thaig they discovered was one from long before and you found the idol there - good chance we were probably near a titan and didn't know it - considering the fact that Bartrand, Varric and Bodahn had lost their sense so they wouldn't have heard the calling - yet...Sandal walked off!
Maybe there was something calling to Sandal since he is different from the other dwarves.
And the stone sings to them - it could have been the titan trying to call Bartrand (rather than the blight) and ended up affecting Meredith in an entirely different way (Hell - it could have been affecting the lyrium she takes, which drove her even more batty)
Then remember - Mages and Templars drink Lyrium - they are, for all intent and purpose, are actually drinking 'blood', We just saw what that does to dwarves - it made them strong, live longer (not immortal since you can kill them) and seal their armour on them.
Who knows what the heck it is doing to humans/elves. Dwarves can probably get away with drinking lyrium since they are actually part of the Titans (living underground) but it sure as heck explains a lot why Templars can grow mad during withdrawal, the loss of memories and slowly stop functioning (and this is actually making me worry a little about Cullen now).
When it comes down to it - Titans are still around yet have been struck completely from the records (seriously - what the heck is it with the orders and striking things from records - it's bad enough the elves barely know anything of their history, the Chantry is changing things to fit their vision, we don't need dwarves doing the same bleeding things!)
Finding out that Lyrium is actually the titan's blood will send shock waves everywhere (and it better become a plot in a future game, don't give me this information and have nothing come from it).
The fact that Valtar seemed to be able to use magic now gives you an indication of Sandal's prophecy back in II - it could have been that Dwarves used to use magic but since they became cut off from the Titans - they lost that ability. This could cause some problems in the future and I don't like how she seemed to have unburied her friend's body and that screams were heard underground - just please tell me that she didn't bring him back to life and bound him in some way, I really do not want to have to fight him.
And of course - there is that Codex in the Fade where it's about the red Lyrium. I had originally put it down to being the Elven gods being pissed off but what if it was about the Titans since Lyrium is their blood and it becoming tainted could have made them angry?
(Damn it Bioware - start giving answers before you add more questions!"
