So, if you say this game is up their older standards, it is clear you haven't played them. Or you forgot them. That is a matter of fact, not an opinion.

No, that is indeed a matter of opinion, not fact, because this is based on your own personal interpretation of the work and others before it, which will always be largely a subjective viewpoint. I could just as well say that you're looking at their past games through rose-colored lenses.

Nope, that the latest games all have huge plot holes, it is a fact, not an  opinion. Then, of course, you might choose not to see them, but they exist nonetheless

Just how is it that you're going to define "plot hole"? Is it because you don't know what your Warden is doing? That's not a plot hole, that's a thread that hasn't been tied into the tapestry yet, and should never have even come up, considering we've been told countless times that their story was over. However, there are those amongst us that force the devs to hand walk them through what's happening with their characters even after their contribution is done, and so we get a war table mission for the HoF. The problem with identifying this as a plot hole is that my Warden is dead. She died killing the Archdemon in Denerim. There is no continuity problem, as she has a Memorial statue in Redcliffe.

Is it the OGB? That can't be a plot hole either, considering the fact that my Warden is dead, and was female, there is no OGB.

I get that you like to throw these terms around like they're important, and relevant, but they're even more important, and relevant, when you actually understand what they mean, and how to use them. Since we don't know if this was the last installment of the game series or not, it's hard to point at anything that wasn't tied up into a neat little bow for those that require it and say "Hey, that's a plot hole".

You completely missed the definition of ''Plot Hole''. You actually didn't even get close to it. Now i can explain it cause i aam going out, but when i will time i will TRY and explain it. You start from a WRONG convinction of what i say, and then start arguing about it adding more and more nonsense to the discussion. That is what being a fanboy is about.

You know, in the time it took you to get to "fanboy", you could have typed "this event is a plot hole" and left the vitriol out.

Love to see this list of plotholes that will only prove that you weren't paying attention...

I swear, if they put the same effort they put in forcing same sex relationship in the game, even though it makes no absolute sense at all (like in DA2), in making a good game, they would make great games.

How exactly were gay/lesbian relationships forced or made no sense? Thedas doesn't care much about sexuality

Not caring about it, and making all the characters of the world bisexual like they did in dragon age 2, are two completely different things.

That is exactly the point of this debatement. No matter what proofs i will bring it, you will try some unrealistic way to justify it.

It is not worth continuing a discussion like this...so, bye.

Was Bethany/Carver bisexual? I'm pretty sure that we had no idea about Varric, and Aveline was very definitely heterosexual, I mean, she's married to Wesley when we meet 'em, and then marries Donnic. Hyperbole is a very weak position to argue from.

They didn't tho, was only 4 characters in DA2

Considering I missed the gem about "forced homosexual content" and that absolute mind numbing BS, it was done when you started typing.  Had my fill of your type on gamefaqs with that inane argument.

Yep, as i figured. You grasp at every single word to make a justification. Pointless to argue. You like this game, i don't. You have your ideas, i have mine. Amen. Only thing left to do is agreeing that we don't agree.

I'd much rather see character-related DLCs than what we've been getting, something more along the lines of the Citadel DLC.  I want more interactions with the party members, more things to do in Skyhold, and the chance to play through the Inquisitor's backstory like we could do with our Wardens in Origins.  The current DLC just feels... okay.  I mean, I play Bioware games for the characters and their interactions with one another, not for the fighting style...

I so agree!  The typical Bioware DLC has none of the heart of the original game that had claimed my interest in the first place, so whenever I play one of their DLCs now, they never even come close to capturing the spirit that immediately made me a fan, they always come off feeling really hollow.

So that's why to this day, I just consider Bioware/EA DLCs to be little more than a cash grab, doing the very least for production to maximize their profits because they truly believe their fans will buy anything, even if it doesn't include the expensive costs of dialogue voice work of their favorite romance character because as long as the fans are buying, why would EA do anything differently?

Do resentful people keep posting passive aggressive questions as an excuse to winge and moan?

Personally I have loved and purchased all the DLC for DAI and love every bit of it. All money well spent and I will happily buy whatever else they make.

Sorry it didn't meat your standards. I suggest you don't buy any more and perhaps just wait for DA4 or stop playing altogether.

Agreed haven't got round to playing Descent yet but I did enjoy JoH in my last playthrough and am definetely looking forward to Trespasser too. I do have Descent it's more I havent got around to doing a playthrough since getting it. But once Trespasser is out I plan on playing both with my next Quizzy as I'll have a history set up on the keep ready to go as I should be finished my current DA2 run by then

Might be that it does. Then again Bioware haven't made that many games that has DLCs in the first place.

Nah, does not come close at all to ME and DAO dlc. Sure Bring down the sky, Shale and Awakening where good, but Pinnacle station, the other DAO dlc? They where all shite and VERY short. At least Jaws and Descent gives us very good lore and tough boss fights, also new locations. (many DAO dlcs just reused areas....)

I come from a land called the GameFAQs Contests Board. In there, inequalities are our equality. Let me regale you with a song of my people.

DLC Ranking:

ME2 > ME3 >> DA2 >> ME1 = DAO.

Haven't done DAI's yet. Life's been madness of late and besides I've been waiting for this one. Will play 'em all in this new file.

In general I think Bioware makes horrible DLC's - at every game. :(

DA2 was .... a bit better with the DLC's.

Great avatar.

But really though ME 2 had some amazing DLC and had some real clunkers too.  Honestly I think ME 3 probably had the best DLC for a BioWare game followed by DA I followed by DA 2 followed by ME 2.

Thanks. I was getting tired of people telling me to smile in my original avatar and didn't feel like taking a new picture just now. So for the time being I'm John Crichton. :P

I can see your point re: ME2. I think partly it comes down to my love for Overlord. That's a pretty divisive one. Probably the most love/meh reception in Mass Effect DLC. Not universally well-received like LOTSB and Citadel, nor universally panned like Pinnacle Station.

ME3's is pretty amazing.

I loved it.  But then there is Firewalker.  Ugh.  That is what I kinda consider a waste of hardrive space.  And then Overlord did have that bad bit with the stupid Hovercraft too whose name escapes me right now.  Only reason ME 2 goes as low as it does is because it is the first BioWare game, on the list, that has a DLC that I dislike.  DAI and DA 2 are virtually tied right now given I both adored Legacy/ MoA and then Jaws of Hakkon(off) and Descent were hella cool in their own way.  I have a feeling that Tresspasser could really tip the balance from one side to the other.  ME 3, I mean part of the love of it though with Leviathan/ the EC/ Citadel it saved the ending, the game, and probably the series for me so kudos to it and Omega was quite fun in its own right but a bit of a let down.

Yeah, I love Extended Cut/Citadel/Leviathan. They all work in tandem to royally fix that game for me. It's a top ten video game for me now but at launch I don't think I'd have felt right saying that. And then of course there's From Ashes, but since I got the CE, it's never felt like "DLC" to me. >_>;
