You do understand that this is a video game medium, right? You want books, go read Stephen King.
As expected, your answer doesn't hold any foundation, finding excuses instead of arguments will get you nowhere. Be good.

As a matter of fact, go read something you like, since you obviously don't like these storytellers and the medium they use to tell their story.
Nope. A good chunk of Origins' and DA2's DLC were not good whatsoever, and both ME1's offerings weren't too hot, either. Both in terms of story and gameplay.

I'm a customer that expects value for my dollar, based on over a decade and a half of video game purchases, that's my foundation. I don't make excuses for Bioware, I have nothing to gain in doing so, but at the same time I have realistic expectations of what they can do in the the time they have to do so. All dlc and expansions have been similar in what they do to expand and add value to the base purchase. I think you don't like the brand, and that's fine. Set your expectations accordingly and find another brand.
If I find any extra book from the codex, I will read them, don't worry, but yeah, you're right, I don't like these storytellers despite loving all three games and their main plots, but because DAI's DLCs are mediocre and poorly received, I have no right to enjoy this franchise or give my negative thoughts about it.
Humor me.
As i posted before.
Bs. There is a huge difference between telling and showing. No way could understand the greatness of a titan unless you saw it first hand. It literally is beyond common understanding. So much by just seeing it makes you ask more questions.

You don't need my permission to post here, it's just my opinion that the critique you deliver isn't going to do anything to improve the product. You're going to remain unhappy, thus your time is better spent doing something else.

One thing I'd say as far as DAO goes, at least is that I think maybe it isn't great, the fact that you can get everything bundled cheaply via the Ultimate Edition softens the sting. It may not be the best the series has seen, but at the very least, it provides the best value of any of the Dragon Age games' DLC.
You're doing, you're trying to justify your purchase while stepping over people's negative opinions in a thread that asks people what they think about DAI's DLCs and not what they think about the entire franchise, so your nonsensical logic fails there, because this isn't Bioware's pattern, what is considered to be Bioware's best DLC which is LoTSB, has an engaging story of it's own throughout the entire experience, and not fillers as evidenced in the latest ones. So no, your expectations aren't realistic, you're just content with anything they give you as long there's some *lore* involved, that will make it purchasable.
Flash news, buddy, if someone criticizes something, doesn't mean they don't like it, and you don't need to get all snark with them
There was zero snark in my post, buddy. But you, however, have used words like "nonsensical". You delivered your critique, all I said was it's not going to get the result you want. So my advice was to move on. That's hardly shutting you up, it's responding to your method of critique.

DAO (and ME1)'s DLCs may have been simple, but they were at least available. I have to rate DAI's lower just by default.

Again, you think one tiny bit moment suddenly makes the whole DLC good, forgetting all that came before, which was nothing but a more of the same thing.
It does, it will certainly improve those rating the DLCs received, and that only reinforces my point about their quality.
Are you a therapeutic? You think I'm unhappy because of two poor DLCs? That won't make the core game shy any less. Dude, go home, you're drunk.
You are most definitely unhappy about their dlc's. That's all I've said. That hardly requires therapy. So, find something that makes you happy.

It's a game. it's meant to be played. Story is not it's only element. Part one is about getting through the darkspawn. Part 2 is about getting through the dwaves you find. and part 3 is meeting the titan. The story is simple but simple is not bad. It's just about con covering the truth. It does not need to be complex. Also, my response is about you complains about the end. Regardless, you have to not you need to play that game and that game portion does not need to have a complex story.

Dunno, I kinda wish I were spared the experience of several of Origins' DLCs, to be honest.

That's just a matter of timing. It was not like that from the start. That not a pro being that it's not like DAi is not getting the same thing.

Exactly.
I'm not the guy or gal who's making false assumptions about someone's taste of the entire franchise when the thread asks about a game's particular DLC. That's why you're being nonsensical
I would suggest a word to you, it's called "context". We were clearly talking about what Bioware is currently doing with Inquisitions DLC. That brand. That type of DLC. Those writers, producing that DLC. I'm not sure why you're looking to get lost in a forest you've created when I'm talking about something very clear - you don't like what Bioware is producing in DLC. Your critique isn't helpful. You will not get results with your type of critique. You could spend your time doing something that will make you happier, since you've already said what you wanted to say. It's not nonsensical, and it's not complicated.

Given that DA2 never got the same thing, I'm not sure why you're assuming Inquisition will? Although it's true that at one time, that option was not available for Origins DLC either. It doesn't really change that Origins now offers "good" DLC for little money, while such extensions cost significantly more for the other two games in the series, and if nothing else, that's going to have an effect on what people think new DLC should cost, too.
And that's why the DLCs released so far are one of Bioware's worsts. Thank god you finally get it.
And with that your wrong. The dlc of the past were no different. Look at Me1 dlc or dao dlc. Bring down the sky was you you trowing yourself at mobs of bartarians with a light story and the other dlc was just a practice exsercerise. DAO a dlc story where you just fought darkspawn to the replays of the scene of Ostigard, a dlc with the plot from scooby doo, a revenge/love story,a dungen crawler with cheap golems and playing where's waldo with Morrigan. And all of tht was more combat then story.

DA2 was not a as big of a sucess as dao or dai, nor was it's dlc. Of course it did not get the same thing.
You know, I'm curious, you cite LotSB as the best DLC ever made, and then post this? The only thing that separated LotSB from the rest of ME 2 was more face time with Liara. That's it, the rest of it is "Fly here, kill some baddies, fly there, kill some more, and then get a boss fight". Pretty much every RPG ever made. In some you use guns, in some you use swords and sorcery, but basically, they all come down to the same thing. So, what was it that was so unique about LotSB? BTW, while it may seem like it, and re-reading, it does a bit, 0 snark intended, I legitimately want to know what you thought was so unique about it, because looking back, it's just more of the same of what happened throughout ME 2.I'd rather address the posts, than the posters, that's against the rules. So enlighten me, what was so unique about LotSB compared to the rest of ME 2?
