Dear Bioware Team Work,
I recently noticed that some Downloadable Content (DLC) of "Dragon Age: Inquisition" isn’t available for PS3. The missing content is: "The Descent" and "Spoils of the Qunari". I spoke to one of your agents and was told “It is something which is decided by the developers and our higher team.”
Let me express my disappointment about the decision to not include those expansion packs, and possible future ones, for PS3 Players. Although some may think "You can always buy a new console, buy the game and download those contents” that is impractical for the following reasons:
A) Extra expenditure in the new console, the new game, and the downloadable content.
Time investment in build of a new character. What if we want to play with the old ones?
C) Many players becoming unhappy with the decision because they’ve already purchased the game for the PS3.
I believe that when you release a game to a console, it should be released in full (all future DLCs included). Many other brands do this and are very successful with it
Consider this: launching a game without its full DLC (or at least the mose important) for all consoles, it is just like going to the movie theater, buying your popcorn and soda and being asked to leave in the middle of the movie. If you want to finish your movie, you have to repurchase your ticket.
I understand that some consoles should have specials mounts or DLCs; but those add-ons are minimal and don't deny others gamers from a deep in-game experience. Please, reconsider your decision, and allow the PS3 players enjoy the full Dragon Age experiance as it was meant to be.
Yours truly,
Airly
