I wouldn't be upset if they did that but it is pretty unlikely.  They usually like to create their own iconic look.

Yikes no, maintain the approach of developing iconic characters.

Customizable customization? A toggle that toggles how customizable the custom options are, which, of course, has its own toggle. Bioware will be forever working on meta-toggles, with ME:A released in 2423 when the little known "absolute toggle limit" is reached.

Practically, it won't happen, because for Bioware to do it they'd need to have character creators for the faces of all (playable, NPC) aliens in the game, and that's a huge resource sink.

I don't see this feature as a necessity in ME:A and probably wouldn't use it myself, but Bioware has done it once before with SWTOR. The way it works in that game is that companion characters have several preset appearances that the player can choose from. There isn't a character creator for companions, instead the player can equip the companion character with a numbered item that alters the character's appearance. (i.e. Kira Carsen Customization 10)

TOR is a bit different of course in that it is an MMO, and that feature was likely added so companions could look unique and wouldn't match the companions of most other player characters.

If by appearance you mean their body, then no.

If by appearance you mean their outfits, then yes.

DLC appearance packs, along with other alternate outfits included in some DLC, have always given players the opportunity to do some customization of squadmates. ME2 even had alternate appearances for "loyal" versus "non-loyal" squadmates.

I'm hoping ME:A provides each squadmate with armor that appears to be properly protective for hostile environments. Also, I would welcome customization.

"they are", not "their"

Also, "are" is a verb. "Our" is a plural possessive pronoun.

Id like to be able to customize their colour schemes on armour similar to how we could in ME2/ME3 with Shepard, as well as being able to change their equipment, but I don't think we should be able to change what their base model looks like, as in face and hair.

I'd like it but it would make more sense in DA.

That's a fair point, and you're right. I didn't think of the possibility of multiple preset options.

In Multiplayer Andromeda, it would be a hoot to have more control over appearances.

I want to customize their armor. Or choose what type of armor they wear, but I absolutely would not want to customize their hair, faces or bodies.

No.

Absolutely no. I want them to be just the way BW decides to make them.

Same answer. some small customisation for sure. like choosing armors and weapons.

Such requests are why mods are important.

Yes If only because that would have let me put a plastic bag (obviously with eyes and mouth holes) on Cassandra.

I would not mind significantly more armor options for them.

Nothing wrong with giving players extra customization options for those who want to use them.

No thanks.

Resources better spent elsewhere imo.

Many of the former companions have become iconic, and part of the reason was because of their specific looks.

Nope. It flies in the face of BioWare's companion philosophy and seems like a waste of resources to me.
