How far into a romance do you have to be in order to dance with your romantic interest at the end of Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts? I am courting Cassandra but have not yet bedded her. I've asked her to dance at the start of the mission but when the scene at the end plays, Josephine is there instead. I have made no advances towards her yet she still hangs around.

I think you have to finish the romance arc and "lock-it in" so to speak to trigger the dance with someone who isn't Josephine. Which would mean sleeping with Cassandra, for example.

I was able to dance with Blackwall and I hadn't slept with him yet. Although that happened almost immediately after the ball. So I'm not sure how far you need to have gone along the romance arc.

Blackwall locks you in early though, I think, with the battlements scene depending on if you (I think) kiss him. I'm so not into him given his story arc (
) so I've never seen the romance but that's what I recall.

Can you get them to dance with you, without having done a Story Quest since reaching skyhold?

Comic Sans... *sigh* This font is only good for school children! Come on people! There are better fonts out there!

In order to dance with Cassandra or Sera, you need to make their romance exclusive before starting the WEWH. If you don't you will always get Josie.

Actually, Josephine is the better one to dance with. I speak as one who romanced Cassandra. It is better to ask Cassandra to dance as a flirt, let Cassandra be too shy to follow through, and then allow Josephine to talk to you on the balcony and then ask her to dance (as friends). Josephine's response is better than Cassandra's, and it's fun to think that Cassandra may have seen them dancing and then kicked herself for not going after the Inquisitor sooner, in which case she decides to go after him at that point.
In mine, I actually had Varric working on the next chapter of Swords and Shields while Cassandra, Vivienne, and Blackwall were at Halamshiral. So I hadn't surprised Cassandra with the book yet until after returning to Skyhold.
