To be fair to Leo he was probably bullied a few times, yeah some of his ideas were wack and he certainly deserved some teasing for it but I'd say at least to my mind knowledge that a few instances crossed the line and there was probably others that I was unaware of. So its not surprising he has a negative view of it.

And that reminds me, Leo did you ever watch Psycho Pass?

But how is cyber bullying even real? Like fam, just walk away from the screen. Just close your eyes.

Leo, you are a teenager whose fallback argument in almost every debate is calling people in their 20s an older generation of conservatives who need to be more open minded about the world. Then again, you are a semi-regular on the Lobby. Self-rightousess know-it-all behavior emanating from the Lobby is technically true, in that case.

Toxicity, perceived or real, is a scapegoat or red herring. It goes without saying that stronger moderation would eliminate any real toxicity on the forums. BioWare don't want to put resources or effort into managing this place, so they are just making changes that kills the community. That's all it comes down to.

Leo needs to get off my lawn!

If I had a lawn!

BioWare took that away from me... though they did give me 12 minutes warning at least.

Didn't you listen to Leo8Skylar? If you don't already see it you won't ever see it.

So you're toxic if you don't understand toxicity?

"The charges are toxicity, prove your innocence."

"How do I do that?"

"You'd know the answer if you weren't toxic."

Haha. True. There is that, but I'd imagine it still bothers a person a little bit even if they have that attitude about it.

Plus it appears he hasn't watched Psycho Pass yet? Maybe he didn't care as much as he let on in regards to that Utopian society he wanted to build. Wouldn't a person want to gather as much info on the subject as possible? For shame.

That's you understanding and interrputing my words as such, But that remains untrue. I have friends who are in their 20s and I'm completely fine with them. I oppose conservatism, Yes, That's true, But there's no way i said that people in their 20s in specific should be more open-minded.

As for the behavior, People tend to mistake and confuse a mean and an end. For example, Conservative self-rightoussness is something that shouldn't be ignored, So, The mean, What conservatives call "Liberal Smugness" was created. In order to counter that. But it was never something that the liberals portray. It's a similar case. Oh, And by the way, I joined here thinking that this place is full of intelligent creative people and i was active on all forums. And i needed a distraction for a bit, So the lobby worked great at first but then it turned out to be a really toxic place, So after that distraction was no longer needed, I left it.

I joke, but I get it. People on the internet, most likely because of anonymity, are more open to being a-holes. I see it a lot. I don't really take kindly to anything I perceive as disrespect to me, even on the internet. With that said, Leo did just perceive being called a hypocrite as a "personal attack" so I'm more skeptical of his views on toxic behavior.

You, Among many others, Were and still are misinterpreting my theories about societal order. And No, I haven't watched Psycho Pass, I remember that you recommended an anime for me to watch but couldn't remember its name.

Not people in their 20s specifically, but people in their 20s who disagree with you. It's your fallback argument. You are probably going to call me a conservative soon too.

There are more than enough cases of smugness and self-righteousness on both the liberal and conservative side of politics.

Okay, maybe that was a bit mean. I'm not familiar with the potential history of negative experiences of every user, and if there were cases of people being treated badly for no reason that sucks and should have had consequences. Cyber bullying is real issue and it's a bad thing (although an anonymous gaming forum is one of the cases were it's easier to find ways to deal with it).

But excluding personal histories I don't know about - sorry, right now the only actual toxicity I see seems to be originating from your posts, Leo8Skylar. Just saying.

Haha. Yeah, you are my hero because of that. Personally I don't care enough to get into it with a person online so to speak. But whenever I see you telling it like it is, it always cracks me up.

No, Not really. You really strike me as someone who's in-between, Not too libreal and not too conservative and i respect that. Believe it or not.

Yes, But that's not the point. The point is that a mean is different than an idea. A mean is embraced to counter idea. The whole thing with liberals vs conservatism was just an example.

No, What you understood is the shell of it. How it was twisted and changed by other users to fit societal labels destroyed it completely. And made you guys misunderstand what it was all about. I came to that realization when i analyzed the whole thread in my head.

Can we stay on topic? The fact remains that it's been two weeks and we've had not a single reply from anyone in a capacity to either revert or explain these decisions.

I pay attention. It really doesn't. "Toxicity" has been a running theme on this forum for half a decade, and people will complain whether mod activity is tight or loose. This place hasn't made it rewarding whatsoever to be in that position, hence one of the reasons why they're based on anonymous shifts now.

Isn't that to be expected though? In much the same way people complain about law enforcement. I'm mean sure you may see there actions as unfair or hypocritical or whatever at times but at the end of the day you still appreciate the job they do for the most part.

I'm not taking your posts personally at all, although wether you wanted it or not they do address me as well. I also don't remember any negative experiences with you back when I was more active on the BSN. I'm just talking about your specific posts here in this thread in general terms. As for the specifics about why I perceive your posts as toxic, let me quote something a wise man (?) once said: "Toxicity is a psychological matter, If you can't see it then you won't see it even if i point it out. For whatever reason you have for not seeing it."

There's a lesson in here, speaking of law enforcement. Aren't police officers who are actually involved in the community more positively received? Especially compared to some random dude in uniform you never see patrolling the streets just handing out tickets and arresting people. A cry for better communication strikes again.

LOL. Especially in communities that are perceived as toxic by outsiders. I'm sorry I couldn't help it.
