Just FYI, if you're running Windows 10 and your wifi gets turned off and switched to Airplane Mode, you're pretty much fucked. Your ISP won't help and MS chat is just twiddling it's thumbs.

This has been insulting a long time ago, since when topics were thrown down in OT before its closing, when warning points were distributed at random and in the name of social justice, and users were not listened when they were asking for disciplinary measures against spammers/flamers/trolls.

This can't be insulting now, it's the repetition of a bad habit: "Ipsa consuetudo non sinit videre malum quod faciunt"; "Their habit doesn't let them see the evil they do".

Lol easily. Honestly, the place feels like a deserted town. Not sure how you solve that but it makes the place way less engaging than other forums, unfortunately.

I suspect the splitting into subcategories makes VSN seem less active by comparison since you don't have the anime thread or the controversial thread of the day propping up downtime in the 'main' section.

Yeah that's probably what it is. I think if every thread was just under the Off Topic banner certain threads MIGHT see more activity though. Well, I'm not about to artificially draw attention to anything by posting in it if it's dead. Still sucks though.

I don't understand why the mods are moving threads to the off topic like a dump yard, yet other times they simply just lock them and leave them where they are?

If bandwidth is such an issue why not just delete them?

Depends on the person. I had that moment on 107. Someone else had that moment recently. This can't keep happening.

For me it's less to do with the "dumpster" and more to do with the fact that it's just weird and how the mods here operate is just baffling. The ME:A forums are a good example.
