It's amazing this thread has yet to be locked. BioVare is feeding off of our pain...
More like providing a vent and stop people being upset spam their beloved game-forums ?

Maybe they're taking the backlash into consideration
Conal should try responding instead of ignoring us. It feels like they don't care.
When did Jessica leave? Oh god, I haven't been active in so long, bahaha.
I don't even visit the off topic forums but I know how off topic sections work on gaming forums and I agree it's a bad idea to remove it. You guys could have at least given the off topic residents a week or so to figure out where they are going to go.
I don't even know who it is;is it Conal Pearce? After Jessica Merizan left I've never been quite sure who was the community manager because at least she was around and talked to us. With her it was obvious and she was totally helpful and mega cool. After she dipped out I never noticed someone filling the void she left behind.
David Hulegaard is the new nominal community manager, but I know that Conal Pierse is sharing some workload/responsibilities with him.
Good luck with that, last time Hulegaard was online in here was mid-February this year.
Well, apparently that info is already outdated.
maybe not having a proper community management is what led to this hamstrung endeavour.

I get the feeling we're not going to stop until somebody from BioWare talks to us about it.

I would be more optimistic if they responded to the backlash at this moment.

I actually didn't realize she had gone as well. Yet she was part of the DA:I marketing so it must've been recent.
That's quite the eviction notice.

Pretty much. If they lock the thread that means, they're proving everyone else here right.
I hated the BSN Off-Topic boards and everyone in them, and even I agree that removing them is bad.

Bioware can't really say anything outside of the general "This decision was made to further positivity throughout the forums, etc, blah blah" It seemed like the most logical decision, etc.
Also the usual "We're listening, thank you for your feedback".
I guess it's official; BioWare is literally trying to kill itself.
Seppuku via bad decisions

Last September

Its been forever. A long ass time.

They locked an entire board. I'd say locking a thread is pretty easy after that.
Then comes shutting down groups, banning personal messages, locking profiles, etc., etc.
I was wondering when the "Bioware is killing themselves/dying" comments would start ![]()

I'm tired of corporate.
Just give us a legitimate person to person response. Sick of all this "company this, business that". We're people. Talk to us like people.

They already tried shutting down groups but turned against it

Weren't they supposed to ban groups like a year ago? Whatever happened to that. Bioware be consistent!
Man, just wait till I hit 100,000 posts guys.
ITS GONNA BE SO MUCH FUN TALKING ABOUT BIOWARE AND NOTHING ELSE TO KEEP IT FROM BEING BORING
