I had to come out of “Off Topic” retirement to post this.

 

It is time to face the fact that BW or EA or whomever you want to blame have turned the corner from viewing their paying and loyal fans as “appreciated assets” to necessary evils” of doing business.

 

As with most businesses now days, they only want to hear from you when it’s praise and only want to deal with you when it’s taking your money.

 

I am not saying this to be negative per sey but just to point out this is the way of modern corporate business. The people at BW and EA answer to their stockholders now not their customers. Again, I am not making a judgement but we have seen this coming since they closed down old BSN. We (the loyal paying customers) are becoming a liability now and not something they want to deal with unless we are giving them our cash.

 

Obviously the way went about doing this with no warning shows the contempt in which they view the forums and by extraction us. At least when old BSN shut down they gave us a warning.

 

It would not surprise me to see them whittle down the forums even more as ME4 gets closer.

 

My advice to you is leave here and don’t look behind. Sadly, the BW we once loved and respected has left the building.

I trapped Ulfric in a Soul gem and carry him around in my inventory after killing him. After awhile I created a Nordic Sword and enchanted it with Ulfric's gem making it do fire and ice damage. I call  it the rage of the North.
 
Edit: I like to Head Canon my Thalmor denied Ulfric Sovenguard by placing him in the Soul Carin trapped forever within the blade Ulfric's rage powering the bladeI

Ah... you Thalmor lovers are still butthurt due to the fact that the great Talos killed a lot of Altmers, conquered Summerset Isles and become the first man ascended to godhood.

OT was the only reason I came to this board. It sure as hell wasn't to discuss the awesome DA games they've been making recently. If there was any chance I'd keep track of the next game's dev enough to regain interest in the franchise it's gone. It's been a pleasure talking movies, cartoons and workday cheer. I wish I'd liked you more when I had the chance.

Okay, sorry if I came across as pushy. I've got like 20 PM's with the same name, so there was no way I could go back and keep track XD 

 

Hopefully Bioware brings back the Lobby, but it if not then at least an alternative exists.

It's doubtful the mods moving those threads were even aware this decision was on the radar.

Well I finally caught up to the thread about one of the things I said I would leave Bioware's site for.

 

And yes, this change has cost them money, I would have probably bought ME:A if it looked decent, but with this they lost me as a customer.

 

I'll be sticking around occasionally until I round up some PM's I still have around here, and I'll be moving to VSN.

 

Oh well, they done ****ed up.
