You know what really blows? When I hit 50,000 posts I tried to reach out to as many Bioware employees past and present as I could to thank them for contributing in the ways that they did for keeping this place alive and making me want to reach 50K. I gave unique thank you's to quite a few before I realized I couldn't reach everyone like that and asked for a message to be passed around to everyone at the offices.

 

Then this happens.

I can't remember if it was 12 or 15, I wasn't here for it. I was busy watching the conclusion of Love Lab which was about love and friendship, the opposite of this, basically.

I'm appalled and can't see any logic in the decision to close Off-Topic like that, you guys really ****** up badly this time.

 

I guess it's more easy to close the whole thing down than BioWare really do their job and moderate the board properly.

Ironically enough, I think it's because he felt like a lot of the discussion there was viritrol or something?  Ironic because he's a community manager for CDProjeckRed now who's forums/posts are probably worse in that regards if that's how you felt about the off-topic section here.

Why was anything to do with the character creator and individual/unique Inquisitors moved to the gameplay section? Those threads will most certainly get lost. While most people don't post, it's nice to go back and look at the pictures. Now they will be forever lost underneath gameplay threads... I had to search and search for the screenshot forums and cc sliders. That's another community hit hard by this. I highly recommend putting that back to it's own section please...

Well, now that off-topic is gone, I wonder what the estimates are for how long it is until the whole forum's scrapped in favor of Twittter, Tumblr, etc.
