So many things I want to say that I can't because of the rules and my choice to honor them. Man, this is ridiculous.

Well so far we've had little two-way conversing and we don't have a clue whether they'll listen to us or not. What are we to do, take their word for it? The same word that said Deception would get revisions it never got? The same word that said ME3 wouldn't have ABC endings when its exactly what it had? The same word that the countdown was leading to a major thing for Bioware fans worldwide that ended up being a sale of items to people in most U.S. states and nowhere else?

 

That word? Because while I'd love to forget all that and let bygones be bygones, Bioware hasn't made an attempt to win back faith and trust in us after those pitfalls.

 

How am I supposed to know we aren't being led on right now?

 

That all this is pointless and will lead to nothing?

 

That I just lost 99% of the people I talk to daily here and will lose more with time?

 

Oh, I'm not taking their word for it. I'll simply wait and see if anyone comes talk to us. If they don't, I'll have my answer.

Nah the Andromeda thread still lives, I'm mostly thinking about my broader space thread that was inspired by Jimmy's EM Drive.

 

We can talk about Andromeda, sure. But space as a whole? NAAAAH

It seems like a lot of people have had ideas about forum management that they've forwarded on to Bioware employees or moderators, but those have been sent as individuals. Would anyone be willing to start sharing ideas and come up with some kind of consensus? We're all invested in this community and no one wants to be known as toxic. If we can show Bioware that we're invested and that not all of care much about Twitter, Tumblr and Reddit interactions and are more invested in the BSN then maybe it will make a difference.

 

And let me edit this by saying that the What Changes Would You Like to See thread has devolved into "just bring back OT." And a super weird gif of Vader sticking his finger in Leia's mouth.

I'm not going to lie... I was nearly looking forward to the Frozen thread being revived with the sequel and getting to see that back in action, this time with the excuse to say I was forced to go see it with my daughter.

Pictures taken to be posted on social media so they acknowledge they got it, say they read it(which they probably will), and then it'll get binned or put in a desk somewhere.

Well, that was a bit scattershot too though. Not the kind of forum overhaul I think a lot of us would like to see, and me in particular with how moderation works.

I made a group to do something of the sort, but t didnt get used much. Maybe in a group would be beneficial- forum improvement society or something. Give us a place to discuss ideas. we cant go out without trying. I mean...they may never respond but at least we tried, right?

Honestly this thread is just a place to vent. I wouldn't be surprised if someone ignored everything said in the first week after their sudden closure of Off Topic just because "they're heated, give them time".
