I came back here to see what page we were on. I am seriously disappointed that we have not reached over 9,000.

What community though? The community is all gone.
Off Topic's, sure. But there are many others in other sections that are likely to be treated the exact same way for no fault of their own and I'd be terrible knowing that and leaving them to Bioware's crazy experimenting.

Hi.
We haven't met. I mostly post in the DA and ME forums. We have a community there too. There are multiple communities within the forums. Just posting mostly in OT doesn't mean everyone else is gone too.

That would require everyone posting as much as I do.

And thats the terrible thing, because this will affect them down the line as well. Just wait for the effects to be felt.

You could come help us draft the open letter to Bioware that we are working on.

Ouch, shots fired! She (it is a she, right?) does have a point though. While the OT section was probably the most adversely affected it was not the only one.
Are you the Monica who posted pictures of dudes falling from the rafters in DA2 anytime someone had anything remotely nice to say about it?
Admittedly I think I remember more than one Monica with a string of numbers in my past life of DA discussions.
Strangely enough, so do I.

Is this a page I can lurk prior or do I have to do something beforehand?

We'd shock Bioware if we did that, and then they would have to send an employee to calm us down and give us the same sympathetic message.

Good, shock them then. Shock them like they shocked all of us.

LOL, no. I've been Monica21 here forever, and I don't remember posting pictures of dudes falling. I kind of liked DA2, strange creature that it was.

It will, which is why I'd like to get on the ball and get everything back on course.

She is a she.
And yeah, there are some weird combos going on now, like Party Member is a subforum of the Combat and Strategy forum, and things are super hard to find in the Lore forum.

You can lurk without registering, it's just a discussion at this point, I'm beginning to draft it. I'll PM you the deets.
Well I swallowed my pride and made a post to Reddit. We'll see how long it lasts.

Fix'd lol

I wonder if they read your links, but knowing Bioware they don't really fix the most obvious mistakes, especially in their game patches. Always ignoring the obvious and angering everyone. Oh, and congrats on the over 7,000 likes.

Oh, and tell them that I'm not eating bloody biscuits with tea. ![]()

I'll accept the thanks but I'm not happy about it. I only got over 7000 because of my posts based around this. This thing that should've never happened if Bioware spared a thought about its community in the proper way.
That link is actually a loop.
Thanks >.<. Fix'd and kept it simple.

Yeah, they've simplified and mushed everything up. Now it's harder to find specific forums within a game forum too. They haven't clarified only why on the English forum was affected and not the other forums, but maybe that's because the other forums are not as active. Which is still not an excuse. Bioware should have done more research on how to keep forums alive and active for their community and fans. I hang out on the Ubisoft Forums also, but they don't have an off-topic forum. People have made their own off-topic threads in a forum, and the mods have come to accept those threads and not close them. But that doesn't stop the forum from being dead 75% of the time. It's only active when recent news about a game is made public. I don't want BSN to be dead like that. I'm grateful that BSN makes us register our games, though, because the Ubi forums are spammed to death by spam bots.
The reason the English forum was affected and the rest weren't is because the other forums don't have NEARLY the same amount of activity. Who has the most posts in those regions? How do they compare to mine? Lets be real here.
Though to close the English Off Topic section and not the others comes across as pure shade. That wasn't cool at all.
Still here. Will remain so until something changes.
Everything I've seen in BioWare's continued handling of the situation (or lack thereof) has the inner PR student in me fuming. How could it not? This is an abject lesson in how not to do everything I've been taught.
Honestly, we just need someone to talk. That's within your capabilities BioWare. I simply refuse to believe you're that far gone.
The reason for that that we've been given is that they can reach more people through those social media sites than they can thru here.
Oh I'm sure that's their reason, and I know I don't have to explain to anyone here why that's a terrible reason, but I feel like explaining anyway.
So, you can reach more people with other forms of social media? Alright, cool.
Why the heck can't you do that as well as post here?
And don't say it's because it would be too much work. You're already using multiple forms of social media, how hard would it be to use the accounts you already have on here to visit now and then? Or at least post news?
Besides, I don't really care if they can reach more people via social media. This is their own official forum, where the enthusiastic are told to go. It's nothing short of disrespectful to neglect us and this place. It's so two-faced it makes me sick.
