Apparently by not posting here people assume that I am being censored and not allowed to post.. sigh.
I didn't. You said you didn't like being here so I assumed you wouldn't respond.

On the other forum it was posted that I am not here because I am being censored.
Also I do not recall saying that.

That's what happens when people are left to their own devices in times like this: wild speculations commence.
You must be really(really) furious at this stage
.
Like I said before, I REALLY don't know when to shut the hell up. Thats kind of my thing here.
Still doesn't change the fact that hundreds of posters exclaimed their frustration, confusion, and disappointment with the changes, while maybe two were fairly neutral and possibly one(?) appreciated them. Bioware has all the info it needs to decide what to do next. But they don't care, as evidenced by the lack or warning and posts in this thread.
Edit: And as I'm typing this, a Bioware employee posts
Still, not to discuss this, apparently.
Oh of course, all it takes is a scroll to see that a lot of people have pitched in. A TON actually.
Bioware: How to Make Friends and Influence People.
EA have always been a 'class act' in making stupendously poor decisions.
Who is it who comes up with all these crazies? It's not really directly related, but I can't help... - who came up with the notion that it would be okay to limit Spore to only three install attempts? And figured that obscure metrics showing that people rarely installed a game more than three times proved that this would be just fine and dandy? I mean, - who the h*** is it who thinks this way? Here's a heads up for you: That's pure, raving lunacy! Really!
...And I could continue, but to be brief and get to the end line, - remove Off Topic? !
EA have managed to pretty well kill off a lot of forums. Is this intentional? A way to get rid of attention before killing off the developer?
Well, stew in your own self made misery, you blundering fools.

From the way you talked about the advantages of Reddit, your dissatisfaction with the criticism of your works and the overall withdraw of the dev presence on the forums, I assumed you didn't want to be here. If I'm wrong then you have my apologies, but that is the impression I get.
Nevermind...!
Edit: yeah , am just gonna do the same.
Heads up folks, Conal isn't gonna read any of this for a while because he's involved at PAX. Apparently this news would be obvious to us if we were on Twitter, but we on the forum didn't get an update.
So I don't want to say we have to be patient, but...
Someone else say it.

... smash the place?
No no no, patience. Patience was it.

Twitter knew he was at PAX. We didn't. We didn't even know he was in charge until someone else told the people who LEFT on ANOTHER board.
Think about that for a bit.
We are given nothing here, man.

I'm not sure if he's done it exactly the right way or exactly the wrong way.
Twitter knew he was at PAX.
Hah, maybe that's why everything went as it did:
*Pierse at office*
Phew, they won't be happy, but well, at least I gave them a week's notice ahead ...
*looks at calender*
... OH SH-*edits comment to "happening today"*
No time, got no time *hits the lockdown button, grabs jacket and flight tickets*
Gotta go gotta go gotta go ... AIRPLANE WAIT FOR MEEEEEE~
The Lobby kept a lot of us regulars around during the lull between games, though. It provides the BSN with staying power at a time when Inquisition is getting old and Andromeda is still too far out to get anything beyond wild speculation or calls for whatever random feature in the game.
In either case regardless of it "fixing" anything or not if BioWare wants us to accept the changes then they need to explain in greater detail what their plan is and how these changes are supposed to accomplish that.
If not, then I think you'll have LP here for all eternity fighting the good fight =P

I am laughing like the Joker in my mind.
Am I alone in the thought that we need different managers for specific parts of the community?
Like one for the forums, one for twitter, one for Facebook, one for tumblr, one for reddit, etc etc?
That way every site gets plenty of time and focus by people in charge and everything can be handled relatively swiftly and appropriately without too much of a spread.
Or is that requiring too many people?

Easy, if you can't control it shut it down.
Oh...
I almost thought I could post on the Off topic section, but of course I can't.....

Definitely not happening for a while. Conal's not here, he's at PAX. Once he's done he'll want time to relax(naturally, anyone would). Then when he's back in the swing of things, he's got THIS to look forward to, and off of that we'll see what happens.
But it won't be quick, and that is what hurts.

It's kinda sad that in this day and age there are still places with no Internet connection.

I don't know about the managers, but I definitely think we need different mods patrolling areas specific to them (while occasionally strolling outside said sections). Areas like Story would have a few mods, whereas Combat would have one. That way they wouldn't be so overwhelmed by trying to manage so many sections.
Something like that, anyway. Don't quote me on specific numbers.
