I don't think you should even put PAX on your mind. Making the decision to do what they did to Off Topic right before PAX was odd timing but actually going there is fine and it was probably coincidental.
The 12 minutes is inexcusable though. That wasn't cool at all.
Pfft if Pax is what I think its gonna be im going to be firmly in the Solas thread biting all my nails off.

I do not deal with moderation, I stated my reason why on the other forum. But basically don't want to be labeled for censorship, don't do it enough to be consistent, and want to not be seen as "superior"
I wasn't bringing up my issues with moderation in the hopes that you specifically could change them, but simply so you know where we're coming from when we discuss it. (And in the vain hope someone who is in charge will see it and take note).

Perhaps. But you wouldn't follow through with a decision like that before a departure from your position if you had even the slightest inclination it would prove divisive.
And when I brought that up with someone else last, I was told: "do not attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity".
So I'll go with it being a goof rather than anything else.
Which honestly isn't quite so bad. And there's a chance yet to follow up on it properly.

Twenty minutes ago you were going on and on about this important first step of having a real live Dev here. Maybe if you'd lay off the self importance for a second you'd realize that instead of trying to make her feel stupid, you should applaud her for making an effort instead of sitting around complaining which is all you've done for the last 840 of your ten billion posts.Hahaha, what is he supposed to do? I did feel the last one was worth $10 rather than $15. Actually I don't even know how much the new one is worth. Didn't think about it since I've got to be crazy careful with money right now.

Bryan may not be able to so anything, but he mightt point someone who can in this direction.
Not trying to make anyone look stupid or anyone else important, just trying to direct things to the right people and not get people feeling like they're being ganged up on by the lot of us.

I don't propose to know how this stuff goes down, but I find it hard to believe there can have been such a pressing schedule as to have to go through with this right there and then. Though with a 12 minute warning, who knows?

Ask around, I want more people on this. This isn't about me, its about everybody. If I had it my way, everybody that left would be here right now saying whatever they're saying over there(that fits the discussion) here. Because that'd help. I want proactive measures taken by as much of us as possible, certainly not me and me alone.

I agree that JoH was only worth $10. I thought Descent was worth less though. Anyway, no more off-topic from me! Well, you know...
