Not trying to make anyone look stupid or anyone else important, just trying to direct things to the right people and not get people feeling like they're being ganged up on by the lot of us.

Remember, there's another location with a LOT of people that are feeling the same things we are, only in their own ways. Taking them into account too, as well as the devs, the mods, us, everybody. Sorry if I came off the wrong way.

Ask around, I want more people on this. This isn't about me, its about everybody. If I had it my way, everybody that left would be here right now saying whatever they're saying over there(that fits the discussion) here. Because that'd help. I want proactive measures taken by as much of us as possible, certainly not me and me alone.

I don't propose to know how this stuff goes down, but I find it hard to believe there can have been such a pressing schedule as to have to go through with this right there and then. Though with a 12 minute warning, who knows? 

 

Well, if you're preparing to go to a Con, thats quite important. You've got fans there too, and they are just as important as anyone else. Makes sense to make a decision like this and then focus on that, to return to this after its over.

 

If you're insinuating they should've waited till PAX was over before doing this, I don't think it would've changed our "12 minutes". We'd still be here, only we might have a few more responses as they wouldn't have focus elsewhere.

 

But con-goers are important too, so I'm not sweating it. We just need to wait and keep our emotions in line while continuing to share how we feel.

 

Hell, opinions change over time, yes? We may feel different tomorrow. Its why I keep posting here. Never know when you'll flip your ideas. Though I'm sure I won't flip mine.

Frankly I started posting in this topic because I was personally alluded to as "the devs". Just like how I initially posted on the other forum because someone decided to call me out, based on their interpretation of my motivations. 

 

I am not formally tied to the community team, 2 days ago was the first day in approximately 2 months I talked to Conal (I asked him where the Feedback forum went since I was replying to a thread in it). 

 

The only real I had a formal conversation with the community team was 4 years ago when Priestly told us how he wanted us to conduct ourselves.

People only mentioned you by name because you've posted the most recently, visibly, in higher traffic areas. One of those pulling names from the void of our memory kind of things, I think.

I guess it kind of sucks for you, I mean, you come here and get misinterpreted and called horrible names, but on the other hand you get to work for a cool company in a cool job that does cool things.. Cool things that literally change some peoples lives.

Like, you know if you're really hot, it kind of sucks because you cant get the chicks off you, but on the other hand, you have all these chicks on you.

Let's please get back on-topic, which is really off-topic, and not worry too much about one post we may or may not think will get through to the devs. Honestly, none of our posts might. Yeah, I don't think anyone actually assumes you're in the community management team. Your name first came up because people were pointing out those that hang around here and are awesome, which you've definitely demonstrated to me in the past and to others as well.

 

Its that which we miss, since we had a ton of it years ago from many a developer, but over time it dissipated due to this reason or that reason, game to game, action to reaction.

Anyone who has spent some time on here no, but someone who is just glancing at this thread the first time, thats another matter.

 

Personally after I moved off from ME3MP onto DAI, I felt I had nothing to contribute, since my main type of posting is based on explaining how things work. Well I cant do that on a product in development.

I'm not in the habit of throwing good money after bad. DA:I was a huge disappointment for me and I'm done with it. No DLC can change that game into something I enjoy. I don't begrudge others their fun with it though.
