Oh, thats the thing about me. See that number under my badges? It means I never know when to shut the hell up.
If I'm still here, I'm never letting this go. They'll hear it all the way to 100K and beyond.
Losing the Skyrim thread is a huge loss of asset info, and I will miss the laughs some in OT bring daily. This will be the first time that I can recall the Bioware forums not having OT, but my memory is faded a bit. Really kind of sad.
That said, I can understand it. So many come here to hate on Bioware, and the Devs are reading posts of name calling, deceptive fiction, threats, etc. I half expected all the boards to come down a long time ago, but was hoping that CP would be brought back to help as a full time Community Mgr; not this.
Things have not been good as they used to be, and it is getting worse. Personally am hoping for some changes towards progress.
Thing is that OT didn't really have BioWare hate in it. It was just a bunch of people having fun with various threads that didn't relate to any specific BioWare game.
I mean, the worst we had was a few people who treated it like their own personal blog but at least a lot of those threads were highly entertaining.
Now how is Bunz supposed to snag various gals without our help!? He'll be lost without us.
What a crock of crap. This is absolute idiocy.
Bioware made me hate Mondays.
Wow you liked em?

There's actually far more BW bashing in the ME boards(can't say about the DA boards as i never went there).

You're joking right?
Priestly was a terrible mod. Hell this closure is Priestly-style thinking right here.
Keep up the fury guys, they'll be forced to listen to the will of we the people!
Bioware made me drink, are you happy Bioware?
Off Topic has less troublemakers than it does veterans who need a place to unwind with other Bioware fans before returning to Bioware-related conversations.
Hell, how about my "Discover Andromeda:The Actual Galaxy" thread?
http://forum.bioware.../#entry19301493
Almost 80 likes for its OP. Know why? Because its different than all the other threads in the Andromeda section. Know how I came up with the idea to make it?
Off of my Space thread in Off Topic.

Know where I got the idea for that space thread? Jimmy's thread on the EM Drive. Located in OFF TOPIC.

Explain to me how the lack of an off topic section is supposed to help. I want to see if I can comprehend how Bioware thinks.
Oy mate, cool down a couple degrees.
I can't help you with that as I don't get the move either. I have no idea how the removal of the Offtopic section is supposed to be beneficial, or rather how it's supposed to not be a negative impact on the community as is evident when just looking at this topic right here.

There's definitely some Bioware bashing on the Dragon Age forums as well.

Anti-Bioware posting happens entirely in Bioware-related sections. The off topic section is the one place where you WON'T see it.

Keep fighting the stupidity. I'll not let this go quietly either.
You guys killed the last flicker of roleplaying by removing the roleplaying boards section and merging into fan creation. We had archived threads that are now lost within the 223 pages of unrelated content, important resource and reference material for any new players that is now pretty much gone.
And you're getting rid of off-topic as well? All of off-topic? Not only that, but your forcing spoiler and non-spoiler sections together and just hoping it all works out for the best without causing constant drama and internet fighting?
I hope you guys don't take out your frustration at the drop in numbers on your remaining users. Cause I personally don't think this is the kind of **** to be tolerated.

CP works at the CDP forums, why would he ever return here when that place is civil?

It only ever happened when threads got dumped in offtopic instead of locked..................
I'm not a part of any of these closely knit groups so this isn't very important to me, but most forums I've seen do have a general community subforum just to keep people around. I find it odd.
Good decision to merge the game subforums, there were too many!

I'm still trying to figure that out.
On top of it all, and this one's a bit more personal, but I didn't put all that work and time into the RWBY thread for it to be lost because "not enough people are talking about us!"
Its these kinds of decisions that make me buy Elder Scrolls games.
We will continue to keep the Dragon Age: Inquisition spoiler/non-spoiler sections separate for now, but will be merging them down the line at some point.
Any particular reason why those forums get the announcement ahead of time, but the Lobby forum has to be informed after the change has been made? Why couldn't that announcement have been made ahead of time, as well?
Or would that have been too courteous?

Not anymore, he recently left. Literally a few weeks ago.
Thank you for renaming Scuttlebutt.
What will happen to Off Topic threads?

Thanks Obama.

What will happen to Off Topic threats?
Threats? That was a subliminal typo if ever I saw one
