Possibly,.. probably operator failure. Please note that the notification message text contains multiple different links. Pay attention to which you are clicking.

I've tried both links, both go to random pages. For example, in a thread with 90 pages, and I have a comment on page 87 and someone replies to it and that reply ends up right below that comment, me clicking on the notification could send me to page 62, 47, 90, etc but never the page where the reply is

You guys want to give BioWare a convenient excuse to locking this thread?

If you just want to continue with the forum game, take it to VSN. Not here!

So the hopes of a post-PAX response have evaporated like a puddle in the Sahara, I see.

Stay classy, BSN. Stay classy.

PAX ended yesterday, I imagine people had to help clean up after the event actually ended. Then if they were to fly out last night, it would have been late (ie getting home at 1am).

Or they were flying back today, or later (if they wanted to spend some vacation days there).

Personally after I moved off from ME3MP onto DAI, I felt I had nothing to contribute, since my main type of posting is based on explaining how things work. Well I cant do that on a product in development.

Actually, that was a lot of the community-dev interaction during the long development of DAO.  The devs would explain how things worked at the moment, or we'd get to engage in theorycrafting about how things could work and they'd explain why we were wrong because we'd failed to take into account the complexities of localization or something.

And let's not forget the time prior to NWN1. :)

An old blind man was sitting on a busy street corner in the rush-hour begging for money. On a cardboard sign, next to an empty tin cup, he had written: 'Blind - Please help'.

No-one was giving him any money.

A young advertising writer walked past and saw the blind man with his sign and empty cup, and also saw the many people passing by completely unmoved, let alone stopping to give money.

The advertising writer took a thick marker-pen from her pocket, turned the cardboard sheet back-to-front, and re-wrote the sign, then went on her way.

Immediately, people began putting money into the tin cup.

After a while, when the cup was overflowing, the blind man asked a stranger to tell him what the sign now said.

"It says," said the stranger, " 'It's a beautiful day. You can see it. I cannot.' "

That worked especially well, because they were translating an existing rulselt, but for much of the development that ruleset hadn't been released yet (if I recall correctly, 3E and NWN were originally supposed to be released simultaneously, but NWN was delayed).

It's unlikely BioWare would need such a thing. Convenient and expedient would be showing this thread the same treatment as the OT forum.
More likely the posts, if found to be non-topical, would have been moderated and the felonious parties pointed. 1-2-3 OUT. Luckily, we stopped our 5 letter volley after 3 posts before moderation was needed to weigh-in the posts and before we learned the sky was about to fall.
VSN? Is that a Beelzebub cautionary tale?

I recall having conniptions over the 3E Ranger, but NWN1 improved them to my great pleasure. Still prefer the latter design to that of the 3.5 version, which I contend went a tad overboard.

And I wish that Atari had been willing to delay longer and work more with the Players concerning Premium mods; could have been so much better, IMO.

Same here. Hoping my wednesday response prediction turns out accurate. Hoping even more that we can actually get a proper discourse going and potentionally salvage some community relations (including our dear Offtopic).

My point has already been defined throughout the whole topic. Right now I'm at the point I'm making fun of the hopeless hopes of people.

In that case, might want to do a better job at it, because you missed the point with your "it's wednesday already" comment.

Also, if all you intend to do in here is cause dissent by making fun of people, you might want to check out the ToS again ... or any of the posts from BioWare staff in here that warned about violations getting moderated appropriately.
