Just so you guys know, the new target is ~7K posts and just under 1KK views if we want to claim the spot of the most active group. Not sure if we could beat the total member count though, that's sitting at ~650 members for a group and I'm not sure we've got enough otaku to fill the remaining 630+ spots.

 

Guys, you and your waifu know what to do, get making sequels so we can catch up!

'We are continuing to look at other changes to the forums (such as changes to groups) and ways we can improve the community as a whole, but nothing has been set as of yet. We want to see how these initial changes go first, and will decide what to do next from there.'

 

All on top of not even entertaining the idea of reopening Off topic.

 

I'd just get to the lifeboats right now. Vroom's forum seems to be starting off well.

What baffles me is the fact that they think this will improve the community.

How? By forcing people to partake in DA and ME discussions?

There's at least ten perfectly sound reasons why it'll just worsen instead, all better explained than their supposed improvements. And they're all listed in the changes thread. It's not like they can't see them. 

 

Its a safe bet to say they're just cost cutting, honestly.
