It looks like Bioware just got rid of a whole bunch of forums, including Feedback and Suggestion, and put an official end to the Beta Patch program. Anyone else think they're getting ready to move away from the game? From what I understand, the Descent was made by Bioware Austin as opposed to the main studios, so we can probably expect one more DLC especially given the supposed upcoming PAX announcement.

That aside looks like they're about ready for DAI's curtain call. So is this good-bye to DAI?

Probably. I expect one more DLC in the next few months and then they'll move on to other things - they supported Origins and DA2 for about a year after release, so I'd expect the same with Inquisition.

I was alarmed when I loaded this section up, thinking the site was broken, but damn...

Did something like this happen with Mass Effect 3 and previous games? Chewed up and put back out in a new format?

My immediate thought was we're reaching the end of the support cycle of Inquisition. Which I guess makes sense. It's been one hell of a ride, I'll tell you that!

Yeah, I think so. We're nearly a year after release, after all.

That's not a bad thing. Now they can get to work on DA4!

I just made a thread about this that was promptly locked. Doesn't do much to ease my worries about Bioware not wanting more feedback.

Which is why removing the feedback section for DA:I is stupid.

They didn't remove the feedback. Its under Dragon Age Franchise now.

That's why I specifically said "DA:I" feedback. It's hilariously stupid to group feedback for 3 games with totally different issues into one board, and stupid to do so before DA4 is released. This is when they should be paying heavy attention to it.

They probably gatherered all the feedback they needed for DA4 some time ago.

Why? People don't give feedback on DA:O and DA:II still, do they? Its all about current product, doesn't really matter if its under DA:I or Dragon Age Franchise. Thats just me though.

I just checked the history of all final story DLC content for Bioware's recent games.

Witch Hunt came out 10 months after Dragon Age: Origins.

Arrival came out 14 months after the release of Mass Effect 2.

Mark of the Assassin came out 7 months after Dragon Age 2.

Citadel came out exactly 12 months after Mass Effect 3.

Based on the rate of completion of Dragon Age games, they are likely almost done with with Inquisition if the history is an indicator.

You're right that it doesn't technically matter. It just gives me the impression that they're done listening to it, which saddens me. I have no proof, of course.

You're right aswell. And i think this was a clear sign that they are almost done with Inquisition and moving on.

Damn, more than a year for Mass Effect 2? If this is the case, then yes it looks like we are nearing the end of the DLC cycle.

As for the missing forums, those have a different explanation.

As of ~2 and half hours ago. I don't think sharing that violates the NDA since it pertains to a thing which no longer exists, apparently.

That's impossible. New feedback is generated every day as new players and old alike submit their opinions and new ideas. They should be listening to feedback until DA4 goes gold. They don't just have some checklist where they acquire "enough" feedback and stop. At least, I hope not!

You're right aswell. And i think this was a clear sign that they are almost done with Inquisition and moving on.

Seems that way. It's too bad, there are still quite a few things I would like to see patched, and I was hoping DA:I might get one more DLC than usual considering it's their "best launch"

Not if they want to be effective.

You need a team to gather feedback , then you need to turn those feedback into something clear and readable .

Then you need to decide what to do with those feedback.

And you have feedback from here , feedback from data in game , feedback from redditt , twitter , reviews...

And of course people working on the game also have their opinions.

So no they're not waiting around one year after the game was released for randomforum user to give his/her review.

No. They can have people occasionally peruse for feedback while in development for DA4 if they want to make the game better. It doesn't mean they will, but they'd be dumb not to.

about a year of post release support seems to be the way it is these days. So possibly one more SP DLC and one more MP DLC.

One more single player DLC and then it's done.
