As far as I remember snuff movies are basically a modern myth of "murder porn".

 

Somebody, usually a woman, is getting murdered on camera for real.

Yeah, but like I said: As far as anybody knows it's just a modern myth, based on some movie PR back from the 70s, where the director claimed to have actually killed the actress on tape... but who knows.

I heard that about in Cannibal holocaust. For a time some people suspected an actress that was killed in the movie got killed for real in that scene, and when she went missing they order the movie director to be arrested. But he found her and he was released from charges. It seems it was some stupid PR stunt in the end. The only time I heard people dying for real in movies was when an stunt got acidentally killed, like in the twilight zone movie, were an actor and two children were crushed by an helicopter.

Yep, that's right. I never watched it myself considering they kill a turtle for real in that movie, and I don't tolerate animal abuse.

I got half the cast killed on my first playthrough, mostly because I got one of the characters I liked killed and I didn't want him to be the only one who died.
