Not my opinion, btw. I'm not entirely satisfied how it turned out, but it's not the train wreck you could think it is, when you look at some parts of the internet.

I suppose the game could have a couple more endings, still, What I got was enough for me. If people are angry because they didn't got their perfect wish fullfilment ending, then they didn't pay attention to the message the game was trying to give.

More like a monster. How can anyone sacrifice hundreds, if not thousands of innocents for the sake of a single individual? An individual that was fated to die in the first place. I could never do that. Max is responsible and she has the power to undo this. This is her responsability. Solas is not the only one with a messed up mentality as it seems.

It's especially messed up when you consider that Joyce, Warren, possibly Frank and other people in the Two Whales Diner blow up because of a gas leak, so you know for certain that these particular people die, along with Evan and Alyssa. Of course, I chose both and am satisfied with both, but it's clear to me that Max becomes somewhat of a time fiend in the save Chloe ending. In any case, the sacrifice Chloe ending is more meaningful because it makes more sense in the narrative to me, and the final interaction is a lot more heartfelt. It just seems like the better story and Max is an actual hero there. Still…….I do like me some sacrificial Arcadia Bay XD

 

I say props to Dontnod. They made some fine video game.

I was okay with how it ended despite the feels. Without spoilers, I will simply say my Max is a flawed human being as a result prone to Selfish actions that make her happy rather than everyone else. So yeah. Like Joel from the Last of Us....of course at a smaller scale.

The tornado and other phenomena existing because Chloe didn't die.  I don't see how they can possibly be related.  Especially given saving or not saving people like William, Kate, Victoria, etc doesn't seem to cause such violent reactions.  

 

Triggering unexpected results from tinkering with the timeline, sure.  They game was full of that.  The universe picking one specific aspect of changing the past and going "Oh, NO YOU DON'T!" doesn't

 

Also, whether more and worse things may keep happening if Chloe continues to live is still very much a question

Minus the dream sequence weirdness the game ended pretty much as I expected. I thought with the last episode they were gearing up for a choice between saving Chloe or saving the town.

It was all the doing of that Blue Butterfly, as it wanted to have Chloe's soul, and since Max denied the Butterfly Chloe's soul for the whole week, it summoned up wacky environmental problems before pulling out all the stops with that hurricane.

Sorta wished there were more endings yeah... I mean I was curious to see where some of our choices were headed. And for it all to hinge on two choices in the end feels a bit underwhelming. Not to mention I'm one of those gamers who will always go the difficult extra mile in terms of earning a happy ending.

I really liked the conclusion. You could see it coming, but it still hit all the right notes. I am a little surprised there wasn't a final, you're dead Max ending. I thought Max having to die was definitely a strong possible outcome. The other, shorter ending was ok. I thought it had a weird dream like quality to it. Like Max finally broke reality or became permanently stuck in

I think what bugs me most is, whichever choice you make virtually wipes out the choices you did make.  Only the memories remain

Mmhm...only as sad as you make it really. I avoid getting too overly attached to characters, so it isn't a big deal for me, but the question you must ask is

Is the whole town worth Chloe? It really depends how you play Max. Plus, I think the end is opened ended enough where you can decide who made it wand who didn't. if that makes you feel any better, you see no bodies therefore its out in the open.
