I think it means they are in development mode now (hopefully) and when new content is ready to be tested, a new beta program will open.

 

or yeah, it could mean game over.

 

I dunno what else they can do.  Besides a deep roads map, I think they've done everything they set out to do.  Maybe it's time to call it a wrap.

Sounds about right.  Looking at their track record up to now, they basically replicated what they did in me3:

 

- new difficulty

- new faction

- new map

- new kits

- new gear

 

The only thing they haven't done yet:  hazard maps.  I'm guessing this will be the last dlc / patch.

There was a single leak a few days before the patch went live. The beta testers suggested ways to prevent leaks (watermarks) but bioware didnt want to do it because it would affect the testers experience or something.

Single leak? I was never part of any MP beta testing. Yet, within 2 days of the Beta servers going live for any of the MP patches, I knew about all the new content. Never visited reddit, or any other social site for said info either. It was all passed to me through links in my TS server from friends that were in the beta.

Was the info kept between myself and my friend or friends who showed me the content. Yes

 

So to say there was only one leak for the last MP patch is a bit of an understatement.

 

And to be honest. Water marks might work. The Star Wars Battlefront close alpha, had a moving water mark that said "closed alpha, (player name)"

And those players that streamed the content found their access restricted within minutes of uploading or streaming. And in some extreme cases. Even an temp origin ban.

There wasn't much to leak and when it did leak it wasn't even worth a lawyer fee for the NDA. 

It became painfully obvious that after dropping last gen to "commit more resources to" current gen that this game is soon to be on ice. 

 

They drop xbox360 and PS3 and we don't even get a content pack for MP as big as Dragon Slayer DLC.

 

Also, what is the point of beta testing, the game is more broken than it was before patch 1.09!!!

Your right. Somebody telling their friend about the MP DLC when they are under an NDA is not breaking the NDA. Glad you could clarify that for us.

I have heard of people copying their main install into the folder for the beta test client. Then letting it update the copy. No need to download it again.

That wont work for me, since Origin did not allow me to buy and download the english version, because germans have to buy and download the german version (which is the same as the original except language) because whatever and then turn it to english by downloading an additional english language pack (which does not apply at multiplayer titels and challenges they added/changed later on and weekendchallenges, they are still german).

So I had to Download the entire Beta, because the main install files have german language with english added via "free DLC".

It's okay, we'll always have Origin to tell us we're playing beta even after uninstalling, even after the program is dead.
