One good thing came out of it, it made my morning dumbbell bench flyes easier than they were yesterday morning. I had no problem working chest just now. Like I was motivated by all the emotions felt yesterday.

I'd say the community here had plenty a good reason to be angry. Angry for a long time.
I know, I was being sarcastic.
And still, the vast, absolutely VAST majority of people in the community, back then and now, are normal people with normal behaviour. It wasn't us who went monkeys about gay characters in DA2, it wasn't us who threatened devs. It was a handful of triggerhappy idiots that did this crap. But the whole community has been shunned for it.

Yep. And this still kills me to this day. Bioware let those few people give them enough reason to go elsewhere.

The French, German, and Polish sections are moderated by their respective community teams so you wouldn't be messaging the BioWareMod## accounts. I was suggesting it as a courtesy because you proposed posting an English message along with a Google translated version and I wasn't sure if that would be appreciated. Hence the original warning.
Actually, I said that I was bilingual, and mentioned that posting in French wouldn't be much of a hassle for me. I expressed repeatedly that I felt any posts that would go into the forum should follow all the site's rules. Asking for permission to post within the rules still strikes me as odd, whether Google Translate has anything to do with the post, or not.
If a mod doesn't appreciate what I post, well... that's not supposed to be relevant. Moderators aren't supposed to moderate according to how they personally feel about things, they're supposed to moderate according to the rules, aren't they?

I've said it before but Bioware need to start talking again to their community. The old board (the one before the previous one) was a much friendlier place as the staff actually participated, of course those were the days in which Bioware could do no wrong.
You only have to look at Jesse Reid in this very thread for an example of what the other staff should be doing. Jesse doesn't always say what people want to hear but people remain calm and polite, they appreciate the time taken to communicate.
If they think the community is toxic then hiding away isn't going to improve anything. It's just going to swing more people to the 'Bioware don't give a damn' camp.

Welcome to the club.
It seems like this forum has somehow become an empty place. I don't know where everyone has gone and I don't know if something like the off-topic forum will ever be continued again. TheChris92, mybudgee, E-Ro, MegaIllusiveMan, Han Shot First, TheChosenOne, Dominus, Fast Jimmy, Dermain, Liamv2, Vroom Vroom, Fidite Nemini, etc, etc. So many people that were fun to hang around with or just watch talking about ****. And now we may never get that again. It's like this site has gone through the equivalent of a 9/11-type event. Again, I don't have as much time to myself as I used to and that has reflected my time on this site, but I didn't think that it would end until, well, BioWare itself came to an end. It's not like this is some traumatic episode for me, but it's sad nonetheless.

Going somewhere else is exactly what they want. Why am I going to give Bioware what they want when they tear apart the relationships I have with other people on the web along with not doing anything positive to make things better here for...well, all of us?
Bioware's in the wrong. I'm not going to make them think they're right.
If everyone who bailed was here arguing for the return of the lobby, we'd get things done faster. I'm trying to be proactive in my efforts instead of giving up and giving them what they want. Screw that noise.

I imagine a lot of them are still around (I know I am). Thing is, I said what I wanted to say (a couple of times actually). I am not going to repeat myself over and over. Either they want to listen to us or they don't. Unfortunately it looks like they don't.
When I can think of something new to add to the considerable pile of good points that already exists, I'll be sure to post it though.
