A couple of weeks ago I paged TheNightSlasher for a Firebase Dagger sniping duo with our signature infiltrator kits (DI&HI). While re-doing the run we figured out we might be able to get a really fast time without rockets, maybe even sub13. Eventually, we succeeded, even if by the slimmest of margins [12:59]. Out of all the runs that we did later, this was the only one hosted by Slasher.

We later tried the same on a bunch of maps (Jade, White, Glacier) and eventually dropped Jade, because it was sort of awkward (and Slasher's recording of the run broke 
). Also because we thought getting sub13 with that setup would be nigh impossible and we wanted to get sub13 times for the recorded runs.
Of the remaining two, we got the desired result on White the last, while dealing with incredibly bullshit spawns, internet problems (5 combined disconnects in an hour + an Origin crash) and figuring out the appropriate strategy. We got 12:46 at first, but Slasher's recording broke again, so we kept re-running it until we got a better sub13 time. 12:37 it is.

Note: my shooting was ******-poor and it wasn't any better even during the unsuccessful attempts, following the 12:46 run. I still don't know why.

Glacier came before White, but I figured I'd put it last since it has 2, in my opinion, most impressive runs.
First one is a Black Widow duo sub11 that came dangerously close [10:51] to breaking the no-rockets duo record [10:48] with a comparatively weaker setup (HI&DI vs GI&GI). However, we went the extra swag distance by not dying at all.

With the success of the BW duo run we figured that 10:48 NR record could be improved. We decided on ye olde balanced setup of GI+DI equipped with Talon and Arc Pistol respectively. I went from using Cyclonics IV to Cyclonics III (shopping is hard) until I eventually dropped the cyclonics altogether to go with swag Adrenaline Module III (really just to run faster) until we eventually broke the record, albeit by not exactly a sizable margin [10:41].

I would like to thank Slasher again for coming along to do all the runs and re-runs, because I know he's not the biggest fan of sniping and we've all played the living crap out of Glacier by now. Thanks for sticking through, buddy!
