... and just for the case:

 - does it count as level 1 power?

 - does it prime more then one target due to it's aoe?

My short research didn't found a clear answer.

When I use his regular melee (Vengeful Strike) the targets glows sometimes, as they were primed for BE. But I never saw the BE in the kill feed.

And did you use it in general?

His Vengeful Strike does 608 dmg (normal) and 911 dmg (amor / shields / barriers) as aoe and staggers, which isn't that bad imo.

Afaik, the DR is 50%, could you confirm?

Dunno but I like using it.

It doesn't prime.

As for DR, both his light melee and heavy melee give DR but I am not sure as i rarely use either.

No. Melee often gives 50% DR, but there are a lot of exceptions. I'm not sure whether the ACA is one of them.

Dunvi I believe did a thread on the values, no idea if it's cataloged in the library.

Yes, but the ACA isn't listed in it...

Nope. No priming. I believe they melt if they're close to dying when you hit them, but it doesn't prime. Given that the ACA doesn't have any melee passives makes his melee weak and should only be done for glorious moments.

It's the animation, am I right? You saw it and thought: "Wow, this guy has some kind of biotic melee!!!" Sadly it doesn't prime, but I think it would be a good idea.

In the meantime, try a Vanilla human adept. Skip passive tree (in general use the powers for detonations - detonations don't take benefit from passive tree), spec to full melee options in the fitness tree (has low shields anyway, no use trying to bring them up from low base) and try out the HM. Send stuff (unprotected) flying with your bare hands! Comes closest to biotic melee.

hmm... up to 3600 dmg with Vanilla Adept HM. Not bad. But he's not a bug.

So when ACA's Vengeful Strike doesn't prime, there is no reason for me to "hadouken" the enemy. I will stick to my CSMG between my Big BANG Explosions.

Light melee does have a greater range than you would expect.

It's not just about the damage with the Vanilladept, it's also about accelerating stuff to escape velocity.

Yes, it does.  It's an AOE and probably has about as much range as the Reegar, actually.  And it has a lot of force too - I have staggered an Atlas with it before.  I would never do a Collector melee build, but his melee is pretty useful in certain situations.  Especially if you want to stagger or ragdoll a bunch of enemies in front of you, like when you're waiting for your CSMG to recharge, or if you have a couple of Husks or Aboms closing on you.
