What do you think is the most badass looking equipment in the game?
I realized something yesterday: There's equipment I've never seen before and some of it looks awesome. The following sword made me want to play a sword'n'board warrior. Too bad we can't change the grip on it.
I'll just shoehorn my pic in here. I don't have a picture focused on their equipment and forgot the names of the schematics since I crafted them and named them something random, but...
The Long bow of the Dragon is awesome. My favorite.
Also rather enjoy the Inquisitor armor.
Longbow of The Griffon, the new Sha-Brytol armour and shield from Descent DLC, Hakkon weapons, Mage Hunter Shield.
The Hakkon weapons? you mean those glowing things that have no texture? idk, all the Hakkon weapons did for me was remind me how much I liked the "no weapon effects" mod for DA:O
Personal fav armours are most of Blackwall's variations - those GLOVES.
Axe of the Dragon Hunter is one of the better looking melee weapons too, just wish the haft and pommel mods didn't show, they clip horribly.
For my mages, my favourite gear-set is the refined battlemage coat from JoH (with upgrades battlemage coat arms and legs). Probably because it's the closest thing the Inquisitor gets to a classy long-overcoat.
Pretty much everything Cassandra wears is sublime. I love it. As for the inquisitor, I love the dalish warrior and mage armor. I think the Dalish Warrior armor is probably my favorite in the game. Legion of the Dead armor is pretty nice too, although it appears to crush the chest of my female dwarf a bit.
I like the Inquisitor Helm and Armor the most for looks, followed by Ameridan's Armor of the Dragon.
For weapons, I like the Hakkon and Dragon weapons the most as far as looks go.
Sulevin blade, Dukes Mane, dragon hunter armor from hakkon and mail armors on Cassandra.
Stone Stalker Armor and Helm on Varric or dwarf inquisitor and Blackwall lol those eyes, the heavy version on IB looks cool as well, Dorian with custom battle mage cowl and the light version looks dope(all were retinted gold and black)

My current favorite is the Refined Prowler Mail (I'm not 100% sure it's the right name in english though) which can be crafted. it's a level 3 armour.
(I don't rember where I got it but the wiki says you can get the schematic in a rift loot by the Frostback Basin in the JoH DLC)
If you play as a rogue and that you yearn for some heavier looking armor (I did) it's perfect combined with the Prowler Mail Arms. It's not a fancy armor but I like the roughness/practicality of it (the elves will look a bit sturdier fyi).
I usually pair it with the Ardent Blossom helmet. It gives a vague "Knight of Flowers" vibe but that's more my personnal taste than a badass thing.
As for weapons the Longbow of the Griffon looks great (it looks a lot like the bow version of the Hawke's Key in DA2)

Yeah, it looks great. But I can't stand the "spread" leather piece on the hip part of it. Otherwise I'd use it more often.
