This has probably already been addressed, but I couldn't find it. I read that this ME2 supports PhysX. Where do I go to enable it. So far I have not had any luck. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing. Thanks in advance.

Enable it in the nVidia Control Panel. There aren't any PhysX options in the game that I know of.

It is installed along with Mass Effect 2. In C:\\Program Files\\\\Electronic Arts\\\\Mass Effect 2\\\\Software for window XP after installing should have the physX.

If it is enabled in the drivers it should work in-game. There is a visual indicator you can turn on to see if it is working in the Nvidia control panel.

The indicator is only available in some of the BETA drivers. The (current) WHQL driver has no PhysX indicator, you can turn PhysX on or off in the control panel but there's no option to enable an indicator.

The game only supports cpu physX only, there no GPU dedication just like in M.E 1.

Actually I think ME1 supported the Aegia card, just not Nvidia Physx, except on CPU.

I thought Nvidia bought Ageia and implemented PhysX within the GPU.

They did, but any game coded to use the Ageia card can't use Nvidia Physx by default. The game has to be coded for Nv physx.

I get this weird "PHYSX > CPU" message up in left corner. Anyone know how to turn that off?

It's not like it really matters. Running physics on the CPU is a fairly trivial thing these days, and if you don't have a dedicated physics card, GPU physics can actually hurt your framerates if you have processor cycles to spare (which most people do in our age of dual and quad cores).

NV Control Panel >Make sure you select anything under  3D setting> Look for "3D Settings" at the top menu bar> uncheck "Show PhysX Visual Indicter".

This shows that the PhysX effects are been rendered by CPU not GPU, and I do not think you can turn it off.
