The truth is revealed, my brothers!
Just kidding... kinda.
Maybe.
Oh I loved the DLC but the glitches were a nightmare in Descent for me, so I give it an 8/10 because the poor pathing can actually ruin some quests.

Let me tell you a secret; shh. I enjoyed Omega, I enjoyed JoH, am enjoying Descent, enjoyed both Spoils of packs. I will likely enjoy Trespasser. Don't tell anybody.

That's a bad joke.
Except I'm serious. JoH and the Descent were spectacular and two of my favourite DLCs of any company. In fact, there are very few I'd put above them, namely the Citadel DLC and the Shivering Isles Expansion (if you want to count it). I'd also say Legacy is about equal with these two given how much lore that game added and ended up tying right back into the franchise in the sequel.
And honestly, the Descent was one of the most gorgeous games in terms of environments. But then, no surprise given that DA:I's design is immaculate in just being awesome to look at and then the amount of history that comes just from the areas you are walking through. Granted, if you didn't like DA:I for whatever strange reason, then you probably wouldn't like either of the DLCs since they built on what Inquisition did instead of outright changing direction like a vocal few keep screaming. But that is Bioware games now... ever since ME1 there has been a loud segment of the fanbase that can only whine. And I"ll take a lump, I was that way before DA2 released and a little at ME2 before I realised they were still two outstanding games.

I am obsessed with that game!

I'm sorry, but neither JoH nor Descent come close to the quality of BioWare's previous DLC. And I say that as someone who played and enjoyed both for what they were.
Bioware's previous DLC has always been a bit of a mixed pack to me. I've mostly felt positive towards the DLC I played but that's also because I stay away from the DLC I think I may be indifferent to like the "Omega" DLC from Mass Effect.
As an example, I personally consider "Jaws of Hakkon" to be vastly more interesting than "Golems of Amgarrak"

Things like that won't help get your point across. Personally, and since we're talking environments, I felt like the Deep Roads was a little empty. I mean, I know it's been taken over by the darkspawn but, I don't know, it felt like the Deep Roads from DA2. It still had some wonderful vistas that reminded me at times of Tolkien's world.

Yes, because constructive criticism and not finding everything Bioware does good quality is "whining".

Harvester... evil evil evil!!! I hated that DLC boss so much! The ending was just... a B movie!
I wonder if you'll be able to chose what will you say to answer against your charges in the trail or will it be a cut scene , if so i hope it's well done.
And will you be taking into custody prior to the trail or not.
I just don't know how the dlc will start , from the look of it , it seems that the inquisitor have done terrible stuff during these two years , not necessarily evil but wrong decisions that annoyed Orlais politicians.

I somehow read that the other way around and was going to look for something that would adequately convey my level of dismay. ![]()

I think she has too much power and everyone's feeling small beside her, so they want her gone. They have a Divine now, so the Chantry is seeking power again and possibly revenge for being upstarted by a nobody. I hope that scene where she drops the book on the floor is an ending choice.

"Tribunal: How do you plead?
Inquisitor: Oh, I'm guilty. I am so guilty that I'm disbanding the Inquisition right now and letting you deal with the angry Qunari at the door.
Tribunal: Well, um, let us not be hasty..."
That's how I'd like to respond. ![]()
From the trailer it seems that the Inquisitor became a walking time bomb because of the Anchor, and I suspect that the DLC will end the Inquisitor's story by his/her death. And in the next DA the Inquisition will either fall apart or become the villain with a new power hungry Inquisitor or with Solas taking over.

I think he wasn't referring to constructive criticism, he was referring to whining. You can tell that because he used the word "whine" and not the phrase "constructively criticise".
panel in just under an hour yes?

Oh wait... I just had a thought! What if the trial is like Varric's interrogation in DA2?

I don't get this empty criticism... especially for a cave system that is mostly uninhabited with only a few full hubs. The dark roads should feel empty and desolate, especially since the Ancient Dwarven thaigs have mostly been lost and in ruins for years. But then, i have no need to have a person pop up every 15 feet to make a world feel "not empty". So much more to filling space than people or even their creations.
The two last caverns are simply two of the best environments in gaming to me. But then, I also loved the "emtpy" planets where I could ride the Mako and enjoy the starscapes and intresting vistas. I don't need people or things they create to appreciate a space.

It's the Orlesian equivalent of dropping the mic... I think.

You're entitled to your opinion, but DLC from BioWARE has always been a mixed bag. ME3 was the last big game, and both Leviathan and particularly Omega had serious flaws (Leviathan added to that crap of an ending, and Omega was basically a Mary Sue XenoSlash Fanfic with tons of glitches). DA2 had great DLC's, but Origins and ME1 had some real crappy ones barring a couple
Jaws of Hakkon was threadbare, but it was fun to play and the Avvar were kinda fun (if noble savage cliche). The Descent was gripping, beautiful, created a great character in Lieutenant Renn, and interesting backstory of the dwarves and Titans. I think it's flaw was that it really lacked interaction with the companions, particularly Solas (who I would think would be greatly intrigued). Because of that, Valta and Renn were catapulted to center stage. By the end, there was no one to dilute Valta with.

The Inquisitor exiles him/herself and is never heard from again...
... until DA4. ![]()
I think he wasn't referring to constructive criticism, he was referring to whining. You can tell that because he used the word "whine" and not the phrase "constructively criticise".
These words are used interchangeable on this site.
If we allowed Morrigan drink from the well in the main story, what part will she play in the new post game DLC? That's if she'll make an appearance.

This... and since most of the "criticisms" resort to the same tired cliches being repeated ad nauseaum... I thought it was obvious. And at this point, I'm also tired of those that just don't like how DA:I does it and assumes is consensus like the ME3 endings, despite it becoming clearer that many people love DA:I as it is and want more of it.
