Soooo, we get

 

• A two years time skip. So I suppose it means the year is 9:45. I hope it's 9:45, i'd hate it if they retroactively decided that all the events of Inquisition happened within the same year.
• An emoting Inquisitor. Which is good: Bioware should embrace the fact that their games are JRPGs where characters' writing must overrule players' inputs.
• A network of working Illuvians: that could have far reaching implications for the future of the series, both in term of gameplay (a next installment where the protagonist's hub is connected to the network allowing to immediately travel from the Anderfells to Rivain and even beyond?) and story (people complained about the dwarves lyrium crossbows being too science-fictiony... well, now we're going to get Star-Trek level of technology: not everyone will be happy).
• More Orlesian palaces... You know, as much as I enjoy Orlais' anachronistic marble rococo architecture, I sincerely hope that they'll take advantage of of this expansion to show more of Val Royaux, and not simply the upper-crusts' residences

Yup, there are males on the party not sure about them being the Inquisitor.

I second this. The other DLC's were great. I especially enjoyed Descent, but my first playthrough only took six hour/six and half hours.....and that was while exploring almost every part of the deep roads.
