Because one of my shard quests bugged and I'm gonna be short one so I'm not sure if I should get the final spirit door and the elec door or get the JoH door.
Any suggestions?
How useful are the resistance rewards from shards?

Which one is bugged?
The one in hissing wastes. I'm at 7/8 and only 1 occularum is showing up on the map but it's at 0/0 when I use it. The lonely lights one.
I understand it used to be a bigger issue but it's too far back for reloading to fix. And yes I have gotten all the other occulara.

Not very. I got my inquisitor achievement before I got my "pick up your first shard" achievement.

If you spend some time working on the resist tonics you'll more or less be better off with them than with the shards bonuses.

Hmm. Well then do the hakkonites deal cold damage? Because I guess it would help against their archers.

Some of this depends on your race and class. If you are a dwarf it isn't as important. Same can be said if you are a templar or run with Cassandra because she boosts the parties defenses. Just throwing this out there to people who come across this thread.
