All of the weapons that came from the Descent and Hakkon should have had sockets added to them. That On Hit: Gain 5 Guard sword is nice in conjunction with crafted gear in the single player. The lack of sockets makes it far less appealing over the already amazing Hakkon's Honor, Bitter Axe or that mace I can't remember its name, the weapons in MP should have all had sockets added if they didn't have them already. That's part of why the ME3MP was far more successful Platinum wise, weapons from SP all had sockets even if they were lame so you could upgrade them to your liking and that carried over to MP. All the weapons in DA:I should have had sockets to make them better, even those horrendous Inquisition weapons.

Just got the silencer today from a perilous dragon drop of all things, and I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be when equipped off hand. Maybe it's because the savage thorn spoiled me with the extra guard/survivability on hit + crafting slots and a negligible dmg difference, or the fact that the silencer hidden blades would only proc when an enemy was already close to death. Some classes like silent sister already eliminates targets fast enough that it would be excessive for the class even on nightmare difficulty. Maybe it works better on other two handed dagger kits, but I find the lack of crafting slots quite a letdown.
The extra hits help a lot with Flow of Battle / Terrifying Fury though, so it is not all bad if you want to panic enemies frequently. It also goes well with Lady Jocasta's Revenge.

that sucks about the internal cooldown.
quick question:how much damage does your bolt ability deal when you use the cordova?
