A friend of mine I play MP with sometimes can't get into his game. When the recent update to the terms & conditions came up, he accidentally selected 'no' and since then, his game is stuck on 'checking downloadable content' and won't let him into the game.

Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

I think he would have to contact Microsoft about this, not BW.  Maybe he can log onto Microsoft for assistance.

Game stuck on "checking downloadable content" sounds like the Retaliation Glitch.  No?

I don't think it's the Retaliation glitch, I think it's the Xbox360 that's trying to retaliate. OP, tell your friend to stop abusing his 360.

It would be messed up timing, but that is the main symptom of it.

I would recommend following the steps to deal with the Retaliation Glitch. It does tend to resolve itself eventually (no one knows why) but rather than wait for that, I'd follow the advice in the thread (it's linked in the library but I can go digging it up, too.)

If it isn't the retaliation glitch, going through those steps may still help reboot things enough to get the terms to pop up again.

Retaliation glitch thread

I'd try that first, and follow up with EA Support afterwards, if it doesn't work.

Edit: When I say "try that," I should mention that Grim never updated the OP with the possible fix that I suggested. I've never had the Retaliation Glitch since, so I haven't been able to test it, but try deleting all SP and MP DLC, then re-downloading and installing them again from scratch. Then, if that doesn't do the trick, try removing the Retaliation DLC (or all DLC as Saints suggests in the thread) by moving it to a USB according to Grim_AoD's advice in the OP.

Don't use contact@bioware (it's an unmonitored address) and don't use the answer HQ, use the actual EA support if it gets to that point (phone support from EA is actually pretty good, when I've used it.)

That seems to have been it, but it fixed itself. It started weeks ago, but he was finally able to get past that screen a little while ago. Thanks.
