More Multiplayer DLC - Musts

Multiplayer MUSTS
1) a ton more loot (especially armor appearances), or the same depth-level of crafting available for single player made available for multiplayer.
Multiplayer WISHlist
1) a varied multiplayer gameplay where mounts could be included... Maybe a way to explore one of the zones of the game together? Or maybe a new zone dedicated to multiplayer exploration?
2) a raid mode- 6-8 players and double the number of bosses. More unique loot to hunt for this mode too.
3) the ability to create your own multiplayer character... More customization options available
4) pvp.

Out of your wishlist, the most likely to be implemented would be the raid mode. The MP characters will be premade by BW, I doubt exploration-type maps will be available any time soon, and BW's still adjusting to MP as it is without having to throw PvP balance adjustments into the mix.
Maybe in DA4.

imo they are all equally in the "I can dream catagory". Hell i'm not even sure if we are getting anything else besides maybe some equipment. G****** shame to , they really had something here and threw it away.

Most of the time the game has trouble with 4 players so 6 - 8 raids would be bug city.
Really need some dedicated servers and more maps before anything else.

2) That would go against their hole dungeon crawl idea. Also, I really doubt that the DAMP team can create a new zone. FC like maps, sure why not?
The SP community would go nuts if the MP has an unique zone,
but I'd be okay with the drama.
3) The game can't handle 4 players, having 8 people would be grazy.
4) Balance
5) Balance nightmare

I don't think most players can even host a exploration map with their internet.
Or maybe they are planning to do a crossover with Narnia.

not to be the pessimist here but what makes you think we'll get anything new at all?
maybe another map (deep roads) and 2 characters (warrior & mage to make it an even number for each class again)
but nothing fancy - not at this point in the game cycle

I hope to see Bioware build on the excellence in the current design by separating out the SP game and focussing a team on creating a kind of Dragon Age Online product. Then they can release separate titles for the single player only fans.
I'd imagine there's still commercial potential in DAMP though if only they would commit to updates and secure the loyalty of the remaining player base to help grow it.

Name: Grunt
Wears a white mohawk with DA2 style qunari mage gear including a Saarebas inspired mask and one 1/2 broken jagged edge horn but the other horn is fine. Alternate outfit is one of those Tal-Vashoth "Princess Leia's metal bikinis" with no mask.
Darkspawn Male, The Awakened
Name: Whisper
A one handed sword but no board warrior mixed with poison and confuse rogue powers. Maybe starts with Lunge/Slash and Poison Weapons. Probably wears a hood/cowl thing to mostly cover his head and top part of his face, perhaps also DA2 style darkspawn metal arm pieces etc. His alternate look could be cobbled together Warden armor, maybe with a Blackwall like helm but one that covers the eyes/nose area.
These two characters continue the no talking needed additions, plus add new constitution/willpower promotes which groups with Pala's cunning promote.
Also getting the Dragon Call chest back could be nice.

For the most part, I agree with this. The foundations are there for something great with DAMP but it just hasn't been fully capitalised on due to conflicting priorities (i.e the single player campaign).

I would love to see a "MP zone" with quests and variable choices, as a pre-cursor to test the viability of a Party-based "non-MMO" RPG. However, that would require significant changes to Internet infrastructure/ISP service (at least in the over-priced under-delivering U.S. Market) to guarantee that "everyone's Internet" could handle this properly.
I would hope we could at least expect 1 more Warrior and Mage. Make them Male Elven S&B and Quanri Female Mage as others have suggested.
I would hope for at least a Deep Roads map. Perhaps we could also get some type of Desert Ruins/Desert Fort map (random sand storms as a hazard) or Night Swamp Outpost (Undead in the water and random lightning strikes as hazards, to match the Fallow Mire?). These could all be done with the resources already available in the SP game.

1) Why not?
4) Balance
1) - the loot systems already in place for single player... it makes sense right?
4) balance for mostly visual upgrades? The stats are already there for the multiplayer crafting... its the visuals that barely change at all-- or not at all for armors

Id be down with 2 separate teams/releases, though I would hate to see it go free to play.... the store in current DAIMP feels like it has some very minor elements of that already...
also I want it to be accessible like it is now.. can be played in 15-25 minutes per round... maybe a little more for exploration purposes... what I wouldn't want is another ESO. The world has too many of those already....

Is there a reason we couldn't see more loot/armors? I mean, it adds a lot of replay value, and the MP gets exhausted fairly quickly...

If it's only visual, then meh. But giving players the choice to choose their own spells/passives ... yeah no.

Really hoping for a new archer character myself. Maybe an Arcane Archer that infuses magic into the archery talents (kinda like they did with the Avvar talents) or even a Ranger character with an AI wolf or mabari.
Technically we already have a ranger. Thornton, according to his bio.
I like the idea of that arcane archer.
Remember the crazy hermit in origins? If you have morrigan with you, she comments its illusion magic. Maybe we could have like blur, mirror image spells like in icewind dale/baldurs gate.
Id also like to see such a character summon wisps to distract enemies, akin to the combat drone of mass effect.
Also, at least one sort of magic arrow ability where you.infuse magical power that can deal x type of damage.

BOTH of these things sound awesome sauce...
again.... doesn't it make sense to infuse this puppy with a ton of new loot to add replay value? I exhausted most of my "new" loot options pretty quickly... I think we should all make it clear that's something we'd like from bio, as well as a new charcter/map...
