First time in life, order pre order from Gamestop
Arrives at door 19 hours after its officially on sale, $8.50 oweing GS didnt inform me about (no biggy but shesh, tell a guy upfront)
Open 360 package, no bonus content (for ME2, lots for other games) incase

TV blows up

Goto GameSpot for PC game. Get PC collectors edition on the spot for less then over all cost of non collector by Game Spot
Open case and 3 bonus content I didnt even know about ME2.
Only 1 advertisement for different game

End result, never pre ordering from Game Spot again for as long as I live!

Fool me once, shame on you

If this posts stops someone from dealing with GameSpot in the future, my job here is done!

what he said. also: gamestop are evil. i cancel my preorder after i confroted them, and they told that even though i preordered the 2 months in advance, the only way i can hope to get th ebonus content, is if i get pick the game on of their american stores on day one, according to their "first come, first serve" policy. did i mention the part where i'm not even from the u.s.? I tried warning on the forums, that gamestop is going to screw everyone, but all i heard back was "yeah, but if we order from GS we'll terminus gear!" idiots...

Don't worry. My local game stop had stopped taking pre-orders for the Xbox CE so I pre-ordered from the FYE store. Went to pick it up yesterday and they never had any CE's come in, so now I am stuck without all the CE stuff as none available anywhere near me. At the time of pre-ordering Target had them on their website but I didn't want to wait for the mail to arrive.

Gamestop, EB Games, Software, etc., and Babbages are all the same company.



My Gamestop stopped taking pre-orders almost immediately. My usual haunt was only alotted 4 copies.



Pre-ordered last month from Best Buy. Picked it up at Customer Service 10 minutes after they opened and that was that.

2-3 months later:

Them: Your copy of ME2 is in.

Me: You mean ME2 CE right?

Them: No....

The GS I went to got it without a hitch: it's one of two in one of the malls here " hehe, 2 gs in one mall thats funny still to me) Dropped the entire payment when I pre ordered the CE....they called on Sunday to remind me to get it ( automated) , and called again Monday ( by person ) went in when they opened Tuesday, got the CE, and the DLC and walked out.
