Kind of like a hunger demon, no? Draining life. Idk.

Yeah, according to Word Of God, in Thedas a vampire is what you get when a hunger demon possesses a living person. I imagine this doesn't happen often, since hunger demons are weak and usually only manage to snag themselves corpses or trees when they come through the Veil. They are not pretty and sparkly, they're horrifying like all abominations are.

So we can expect any vampires to appear as their own unique 'race' model, most likely, given that they'd have a more monstrous appearance? Like the cannibals of Jade Empire? Sweet.

Anything that fuels my desire to cram these two universes together until and unless we get a Jade Empire sequel!

Well, hunger was mention quite often in DAI, so maybe we will see some kind of monstrous vampire down the road. Who knows?

I would like to see a more up-to-date outlook on the Werewolves as DA O briefly started and given the graphical limitations at the time, I would like to see how ferocious they could be. Vampires although, kinda boring & outplayed, do seem fitting in Thedas. I think more encounters with hideous and powerful beasts would accelerate the game tremendously because I know DA I I grew tired of fighing the same enemies over and over and them never really changing in appearance or abilities. DA I also lacked in boss battles. I mean one of the very few major boss battles is just forms of the same demons you have already faced, only more powerful and more health. I did like the intro to the Fear Demon but still, there are no epic memorable boss encounters (aside from High Dragons) that really leave a lasting impression on players. Origins did exceptional with its bosses and tough enemy encounters and I remember a sense of urgency playing it and CONSTANTLY saving my progress in fear of what awaited every single corner I turned. This factor is missed, and any new creatures are welcomed by me, as this adds variety and new flavor to the genre..

There technically are Vampires in Thedas. As a Werewolf is the product of a Rage Demon possessing  a Wolf, a Vampire is the product of a Hunger Demon possessing a person, living or dead. Basically the Fanged Skeleton and possibly Hunger Abomination we have encountered in previous games were "Vampires". A Hunger demon possessing a person or corpse doesn't always produce a "Vampire" however and could alternatively create something similar to a flesh eating Zombie. If you were asking if there was a specific race or disease that results in Vampirism then the answer would be no.

Uldred didn't look too bad before entering combat.

Uldred was a pride demon, though, not a hunger demon. Hence the big brown scaly transformation.

The only hunger demons we've encountered, other than those possessing corpses, were the Profane abomination in DA2 and the demon in the crypt from Awakening. They were never given their own model, which is odd considering they're among the original five types of demons.

Team Jacob.

God I loved the Werewolves in DA:O. Really wish we could delve deeper into other classical mythology.

As for monster or sex god, I would lean towards monster if DA didn't take away our desire demon sex gods. More sex gods please.

Very wise & interesting input and it caused me to start thinking and scratching my head. and now I just plain gotta get it off my chest & I am by no means falsifying your statements. But I thought Ghouls were the product of a demon possessing a dead body, usually a very weak demon as it is rare for more wise & powerful demons hardly ever possess a corpse. And Abominations to my knowledge which could very well be incorrect, was what you get when a mage makes a deal with a demon by force or by his own will, thus creating the horrid and brute Abominations... I could always check for sure, but that is what I thought.

DA could add whatever creature they wanted and I would probably still be sold. The depth in design, most importantly the lore & history and background of the creatures is indeed fascinating and only game I have seen come close to this is Witcher 3. I love it and try and find every piece of Codex out there. But anyways, the lore is outstanding and my favorite in gaming today. Werewolves, some version or info on Vampires, more corrupted animals or rare combinations of animals possessed  by demons or anything of that nature is amazing.

Demons are the scariest creature of all to me on DA BESIDES any of the spiders ESPECIALLY Corrupted Spiders oh ad the huge Monstrous & Queen Spiders which all make my skin crawl. I have such a fear of Spiders in general. But demons make for  amazing encounters and epic boss battles in both DA Origins & DA II. In DAI we are introduced to the Fear Demon, which is a hideous creature that pumps out (whaddya know!!!) spiders... I would like to see more info on them too by the way. But anyways that being said, I think if game is set in Tevinter which I have heard it is rumored to be and Bioware has hinted there will be a story to tell one day in Tevinter. But anyways, if a magister is possessed by a powerful demon either Fear or Pride maybe Desire, create a new one more formidable and hideous and scary than we have yet to see. Magisters should provide a demon with a the most powerful body available or presumably.  Oh, yeah and add some evil, corr8upt & vile witches, (not mages)  but witches who may or may not look Flemeth.

Uldred was a pride abomination, and powerful demons have more control over their hosts forms.

I think they got a model in one of the mobile games, but I'm not sure if that model can be considered canon. It sort of resembles a blue rage demon.

In Thedas Ghouls are actually the result of a human becoming infected by the Blight -- When you see Tamlen in the second half of Dragon Age Origins when the Darkspawn attack the camp- that is a ghoul.. same with the Dwarf you are asked to find in the Deep Roads during the Orzamaar missions. Basically it is a human/elf/dwarf/qunari who is in the process of becoming a darkspawn- no magic or demons involved and not an abomination at all.  In fact, most Grey Wardens can be considered ghouls since they will eventually succumb to the blight -- that is basically what the Calling is, you begin hearing the archdemon, can't ignore it and devolve from whatever race you are into a ghoul. In DAI you run into ghouls when sealing the Darkspawn holes in the Storm Coast region.

The product of a union between a corpse and Demon greatly depends on the type of Demon. For example while we know that Werewolves are the result of a union between a Wold and a Rage Demon and Wolf being possessed by a Sloth or Hunger Demon would create something entirely different. It is the same with corpses.
