That's one of the things I'm going to miss the most, going back through old pre release posts. Having a post release perspective on early speculation. It's fun and often hilarious to see how wrong - or right - we were.

Ever since I saw the Art for it, I was hoping to see something that involved bringing parts of Dragon Age and Mass Effect into one game. Something that mixes advanced technology, medieval culture with a futuristic touch, a mix of medieval and futuristic weapons, etc. Stuff like the picture(s) below

Wanted to let you know that we're trying to move the Twitter threads over to a new BSN: http://bsn.boards.net

 

I know everyone's been inundated with over half a dozen new "BSN life raft" forums the past few days since the announcement. The difference in this one is that it's run by Cyonan, a well-respected poster most well-known in the ME3MP forum for being level-headed, dedicated to the entire community, in it for the long haul, and a prodigious dataminer (we learned a lot about upcoming DLCs from him datamining update and patch files). Don't let the MP part of that scare you - we are dedicated to SP as well and have the forum set up to mirror this one. We're also in the process of trying to bring over and archive BSN data so it hopefully won't be lost in the purge later.

 

Hrungr and Lady Sif are already there and we have Dragon Age and Mass Effect Andromeda Twitter threads established and running for them. I believe Hrungr is getting one set up in our Off-Topic subforum for now, until we have more info to create a New IP subforum itself over there. Elite Pinecone, PCThug, and BioFan have all been sent invitations as well.

Wow, I have a few weeks break from here to settle into uni, and when I come back... the forum is closing?!

 

I just wanted to say that a large part of why I am studying Game Development and deciding to get into the industry was from discovering this forum and learning more about what the industry is like etc etc. I'm finally working toward a career that I'm passionate about so this forum literally changed my life! Sounds corny but it's true... I guess I'll see you all on the new BSN!
