Well, I'm kinda glad PAX is this weekend. It gives me something fun and exciting to watch to distract me from the non-stop Tropical Storm-trying-to-be-a-hurricane Erika panic that is currently engulfing my state at the moment.

 

A literal calm before the storm. Get to hear some fun stuff announced, get the weekend challenge done, then hunker down early next week until the storm passes.

Well, I'm kinda glad PAX is this weekend. It gives me something fun and exciting to watch to distract me from the non-stop Tropical Storm-trying-to-be-a-hurricane Erika panic that is currently engulfing my state at the moment.

A literal calm before the storm. Get to hear some fun stuff announced, get the weekend challenge done, then hunker down early next week until the storm passes.

I certainly would being totally honest.  Honest to goodness last week as I was playing DAMP I was musing that maybe I'll buy both Hakkon and the deep roads dlc for single player because I have not finished SP yet and I almost always buy BioWare dlc sooner or later.  Dumping off topic put an end to that notion for the time being.

I wouldn't expect a new game mode this late into production. It makes little sense for the team to introduce new gameplay mechanics that don't fit the dungeon crawler design. A new game mode would also require a rework of the proving grounds. I fear they just don't have the resources for it.

 

I'd expect 1 or 2 new characters and a new map, that's it. HB will remain the hardest difficulty. No horde mode or keep defense mode.

 

They had resource to nerf AW ... lol, my mighty AW... After that we got the Descent, literally down in the holes for a DLC. I could use that $ to wait in line and buy some meals at McDonald that still longer than playing Descent... even in nightmare mode; it's bad when you dont need pots in nm mode for fights and worst when the story is **** ... and about as long as the title.

Isnt it 7:30 to 8:30 Eastern Time?  I assume their schedule for PAX is Western time, since thats the time zone where its held.

Yeah, the Dragon Age Panel is 4:30pm Pacific, so 7:30pm Eastern.

Am quoting the hopeful and still optimistic me from two days ago replying @Lukes "wouldn't want to spoil anything" . And then turns out Pax offered no DLC news whatsoever .. feeling like a bit of a Muppet now but I guess all things come to an end.. bit surprised its this soon as the game is fun imo and seems to have massive potential for expansion . but maybe it really is a broken legged horse with all its bugs and crashes and cant be fixed .. which inevitably ends with a bullet. .

Maybe parts of the dlc will cross over with MP, e.g. Qunari enemies added as a new faction. Maybe new maps too.  Hopefully new maps.  Possibly new maps.  I want new maps.
