While there wasn't anything announced specifically at PAX I had to wait to say that there will be MP content released at the same time as the DLC.

It's good to hear that we'll get more content come the 8th, but will there still be more content in the future? I'm assuming even if DLC isn't possible, than you guys could still add new content via patches; as you've done before. There's also still the Varrics book that we need to finish up, so maybe the reward for beating that might signal something on the way. Of course I'm speculating on that last one, but I just hope there's more for this game at least till November. Not just Weekend Events.

Im going with ~7 new characters because Alchemist, AW, Hunter, (blank), and (blank) are reworks.  2 new characters.

They should have given some stage time for DAIMP to update players on all the changes that have happened since launch and how it is much more enjoyable experience compared to it's infancy.

Don't worry, while I'm aware that my efforts have been, mostly, appreciated, I know there are still many other things that the community would like to see added, improved, changed ...etc. I don't hold it against anyone for being vocal about their complaints - as long as it's not pure vitriol it is usually beneficial, if not for right now certainly for the future.

Considering 2 maps would probably be too much, and we are missing a mage and rogue along with pala, I'd say 1 map 2 characters.
