I wish we could get a Tamer/Archer mix. One tree is devoted to bow abilities, while the other is devoted to tamer abilities (like calling a Druffalo).

there shouldnt be any. this game had a terrible start, the playerr base is ridiculously small, EA/BW wont get anything from microtrs. (platinum), they should move to another project and we should all pray it ll be better than this one. this game had great potential, but it was wasted:-(

I don't think he would list 16 new armors.
So we are probably getting 1 new faction or one new map.

They are not sure how many of the new player created items they can/want to bring in, so that number is still a little up in the air.
Not sure what the ~7 is. I feel like if it was enemy types, it would be locked in. (Unless the "~" means he doesn't exactly remember, not that they haven't locked in on a number yet. I feel like his post is the DAIMP version of the Zapruder film. Back and to the left...)
EDIT: The best case scenario is ~7 new characters.
Which would make one new faction and 2 new maps. But I think that's just being unreasonably optimistic.

Maybe they're still testing to make sure that the fearsome Qunari pets, the Par Vollen Jackalopes, don't cause a new key drop bug, get stuck in walls, or tend to congregate in corner bushes chasing their tails?
