I wanted to brush up on my HTML/CSS/JS skills, so I made one.

Hopefully it's self explanatory. The main thing to note is that when generating a character, it first picks the class and kit and then selects an appropriate race. This means that races with few class options will show up less frequently. If you'd like it to pick the race first, there is an option on the customization screen.

It's not finished yet. Mostly it needs a spell picker and then maybe a thief skill or proficiency picker if there's interest. I'm also not 100% satisfied with the way it looks, but I can't put my finger on why. I used a tutorial to setup the basic tabbed interface, but maybe that's not the best way to do it.

EDIT: Fixed the above issues. Aside from minor bug fixes and interface tweaks, it should be finished.

Interesting - I have a party generator as well, and mine does do proficiencies, as well as racial enemies for rangers, and does spell picks as well, and alignments. It's a Qbasic program, so you have to run in DOSBox - it has a good interface I think - oh and it can print its results as well.

Nice work, Grim Jim!

I've never played a randomized party but if I do I'll try your tool.

Best,

A.

I redid the interface and added all the remaining features. It should be pretty much finished.

I was about to install difficulty increasing mods, as my current game has been a bit too easy in places. (A little too hard in others - but that was due to laziness)

This might be the answer.

Leave the mods as they are, but have sub-optimal characters. :)
