I should probably get up and disconnect the PS3 and reconnect the PS4 to the TV so I can do this....later.

Went in 1 game with my Alchemist to get 40 combo's (Flask of frost, Twin Fangs, Shadow Strike, and Flank Attack).  Group downed by bolters while fighting in a treasure room on wave 4.  

 

Walked out with 103 combos...

GTFO Templar, Alchemist is the new combo queen.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Multiplayer Weekend Event (August 28 – 31)

Agent Goal: Score 40 combos
 
Inquisition Goal:
PC/PS4/Xbox One: Score 50,000 combos
PS3/X360: Score 10,000 combos
 

50000 combos / 40 combos = 1250 players for PC/PS4/XB1.

10000 combos / 40 combos = 250 players for PS3/360.

It is very worrying to see those numbers... Is DAMP community that small?

I guess it is low because they want to encourage people to try cross-class combo without resorting to picking classes that can do combos on their own - if the numbers are too high, there's a big pressure for them to just sit in their own room grinding with Alchemist or stuff.

No the numbers of players isn´t that small at least on pc community challenge is close to 2nd star. Will be done before the challange is 1/2 day old ...

roll a templar and I am pretty sure they just hand you the two chests, /concede /resign /gg /ggwellplayed

At least they tried to make a better WEC than the last ones.
They always stick to a simple "doing one thing". Why not different tasks for each star? Can´t be that difficult.
 
Just curious what other think. In this case it could look like this:

Star 1: Make 10 Eldrith combos
Star 2: Make 10 Detonator combos
Star 3: Make 10 Combos as a Warrior Character
Star 4: Make 10 Combos as a Rogue Character
Star 5: Make 10 Combos as a Mage Character

Community Challenge could be designed similar.

 

Not that complicated didn´t need much creativity ^^

Glad this task challenge has come back as I really enjoyed it last time, was low on time so I quickly played with myself, done in one match thanks to Luka freezing & fisting everything.

 

Side note: I noticed that flask of frost cooldown is not affected by cooldown amulets.

I'm actually struggling to find matches where I can get combos. And for some reason, a Necro WG a target while I Immolate them does not register as a combo.

Ele and AW can't combo with themselves, but Luka can?

You need a cross-class combo, not just a combo.  

 

For ele you need WG followed by Stonefist.

 

AW needs to put a target to sleep (shocked + weakened), then detonate with dispel or stonefist

 

All Luka needs is Flask of frost and Twin fangs/shadow strike.  Done correctly with both slotted it yields 3+ shatter combos per flask of frost.

So, WG + SF = "cross-class" combo because it's elemental combo-ing with impact while 2 elementals would not work?
