Did anyone else run into Helena Blake on Omega? I talked with her a bit but I get the feeling that she is up to something.

She says shes become a social worker helping everyone on Omega. I suspected her at first but talking to her long enough i convinced myself I changed everyones lives for the better by playing ME1 as a paragon. lol

Yeah, I got that also. She's "changed her ways" I guess. We'll see if it holds out.

For some reason when I met her I was seriously creeped me out when she told me she was a social worker

Eh, I think she's still into shady stuff, however, her kind of social work is finding tamer shady stuff for desperate people to work on, rather than the slavery and red sand dealing. Fine by me.

I met her on two different playthroughs: first she told me she is now working for Aria, then with another character she told me she's a social worker! I wonder what my sheps said differently to cause these different choices by Helena??

Well, in fairness, the "talking her out of it" convo in ME1 was pretty unbelievable. Guess you never can tell about people...

For her to have retired, you have to have Charmed or Intimidated her, I think.

This is true. In ME1 you get the choice to make her disband the organization through Charm or Intimidate options. you can also choose to kill her, or to simply let her take over.
In the latter case you'll meet her on Omega, working for Aria once she found out she wouldn't be able to compete.

I'm glad Helena made a reappearance, especially after the nonsense message in the first game that I'd be "likely to never see her again." I just wish there was some kind of shady reward you could get for letting her take over the organization, like a free research upgrade or something.

I was surprised when she said she became a social worker on Omega, that's quite an interesting career shift from being a crime boss. I geuss it shows that there's more to Ms. Blake than meets the eye.

That or Shepard's persuasion is more powerful than indoctrination. Which seems to be the case, if all it takes is a few words to get a crime boss to stop selling death sticks.

She wasn't a proper criminal really. More of an early startup.

My first ME1 play through I ended up killing her, but the one I transferred I let her live. She seems to have taken that advice of mine seriously. :)

Uh? She told me she come to Omega to try take ower the buissnes but Aria was to strong so she desided to become a henchman to her. Guess it depends on what you did in ME1 then ^^

Maybe that's what happens if you just never talk to her on the Citadel.  If i remember correctly you can talk to her but decline the job to take down the other crime bosses.

I let her continue to operate (intentionally, had the "Disband" Intimidate option), and she gets taken over by Aria. Was disappointing a bit, but it helped set up just how powerful Aria is.

Anyone know what happens if you Intimidate her into disbanding, rather than Charming?

If you don't do her sidequest, she doesn't show up on Omega at all.
