You mean you're shocked the Inquisitor has a personality? lol

Seriously though, she's lost it and for a good reason too. She's fed up. She's worn a mask, played the Game, charmed people, was accused of murder, became the Herald against her wishes and nearly gave her life to save everyone more than once, and now she's being picked on by those same people because they fear she has too much power? I'd lose it if I was her. I say it's about time.

People complain about her/him not having personally, but when they do give him some, well...you can see people's reactions

Because it is, hopefully Bioware got a lesson or two from Witcher 3 and implemented the things that game did well with this DLC and the next game.

Apocalypse Now is also better. Do you see me bringing it up all the time? No, because that's stupid. Just like constantly bringing up how much more you like Witcher 3 better than DAI is stupid.

The other big feature – and I know this comes a little late – we finally added a wardrobe to you bedroom in Skyhold so you can choose from about a dozen different outfits for your casual wear as you make your way around the castle. There are some that are a leather look, some that are a lightly armored look. There’s a couple variations on the formal wear. Hopefully, people find something they like and are comfortable with. Certainly people have asked for it. I know people will probably miss the current outfit, so it’s still there for the people who are in love with it – all three of them.

OMG FINALLY

Yes indeed, we can keep hoping. I will not give up on DA no matter the direction they go, just hope they realize the potential of this amazing series and don't throw it away and make bad unchangeable choices. I have faith Bioware will do whats best. If there weren't so many plot holes and variations  that could alter too many possibilities I would be ok with the idea of new game new character however player sees fit. But I cannot see how the series could ever evolve further into what it is certainly going to have to if its going to live on as a series. I would love some more of Flemeth as well, as I suspect she is one of the main Villains of Dragon Age and will one day have to be dealt with (if possible). LOTS of interesting possibilities.

Personality? Does melodramatic acting and cringe-inducing dialogue equate to personality for you? It doesn't for me.

About time for melodramatic acting and cringe-inducing dialogue?

I have to ask, have you ever seen a movie with a score above 50% on Rotten Tomatoes?

She's done it a few times in my game, so it looks pretty normal to me.

You think this is the first time the quis acted cranky?

And last tiem I've check you can choose if you are cranky or not. Also, personality dictates how you react.

The inquisitor is what you make them. So if they are bland, you have no one to blame but yourself. Unlike Shepard or hawke they are not predefined, and do not have a set personality.

Should we really make this thread a comparison between protagonists?

And how would i make them exactly , there is no depth in their background , unlike warden origins and Hawke we knew their family their struggle to keep the family safe and how they reached kirkwall quizzy background is only referenced, no RP options like warden ,quizzy is one dimensional , the game is tailored  to a paragon inquisitor , hell punching Solas was the most aggressive act in all of the dialogues.

What if my quizzy is non Andrastian , what if was an Elf , why wouldn't he say " to hell with it am the herald of Mythal , you don't like it go punch your head in a wall" , or if he was a dwarf the same thing applies , what about dalish quizzy who's lectured by Morrigan of all about his own culture.

I didn't want to be Raven either this or this , but i wanted to roll quizzy as a strong leader who'll rule with an iron fist , alas all i could achieve is semi this semi that , and the missing chemistry between him and NPCs , he has a mass space of freedom and a lot of variance i can get to him in most of the details , yet it's all messed. No RP options is unacceptable , it's awful.

I love to mix it up! My Inquisitor is sassy with close friends, has a temper that should not be crossed by enemies or feuding friends/comrades (Cass and Varric and Hawke and Loghain) and a very proper and lady-like attitude concerning nobility. My fav line is "Enjoy your victory! Here's your prize!"

You can't. They've already said he's destined for future games (your Inquisitor is not).

You'll get some exposition and a farewell, but you're not going to be able to affect anything he's doing.

A fight is still possible.

Even death of his mortal form.

We still don't know crap.

Well, that looks promising. It's just too bad that "status quo is king" appears to be the rule of the day again, and that nothing the Inquisition has done will have any permanent effects. As great as this looks as a story, one does wonder if it's worth fighting if we're set up to fail by the writers. Again.

You want it to be one way... you want it to be one way...

Kind of worried about the 2 year time skip. All my post-game headcanons are going to be ruined.

Not kill, just kick his ass. It would be satisfying. I almost romanced him in my first game. Good thing I didn't.

Then you'll just have to make post-post-game headcanons. ;)

Counter point: Much of the quis motivation can be made form the events in game. You think a normal person who goes through the events of Hushed whispers can come out with no motivation?

This is why I refrain from thinking up any sort of post-game headcanons for the protagonist until dlc is finished off. haha

One only has to see what happens to the Wardens in between Blights to see the answer to that question. Both are organizations that by necessity have to entangle and unite themselves with a wide variety of disparate factions... dissolution through drama is something my Inquisitor will be expecting.
