Particularly since it's toxic. It would be like revolvers using bullets made of contact poison.

Poison only lasts for 5 seconds in Thedas anyway, and they your body just cures itself of it.

Nonsense.  No automatic weapon that requires expending lyrium with every shot would catch on for general use.

Sure it would. Every ranged weapon in Thedas has unlimited ammo anyway.

It'd be amusing to see it get a mention, but I doubt much will become of it. If Harmond was killed, I don't see how the Inquisitor could get blamed for it, unless the writers just add in a hidden witness that watched from a distance and decided not to intervene, but that would be kind of goofy. Like, why is this person just skulking in the darkness watching, and why didn't Harmond do that himself to spare himself the potential backfiring of the trap he set?

There were two of them, actually :>

In all seriousness, the chain of events would be: Land dispute between two nobles > Inquisition forces march through contested territory > One of the belligerents turns up liquefied. Even if there weren't any witnesses, there would certainly be cause for questioning.

But there are witnesses, and in addition we don't know what exactly the debriefing process is for that situation. Since nobody seems at all concerned about the legal implications after the fact, I don't expect it's something the Inquisition moved to cover up. Word could easily get out.

I'm still waiting to know what happen to my "Hero of Ferelden" from DA:O. She ist still missing in action. Same with Hawke ... THIS are really BIG, BIG plot holes. Bioware could first work on them!!

"A plot hole or plothole is an obvious mistake or missing element in the plot of a fictional work, such as a book, play, film, or TV show.[1] These include such things as illogical or impossible events, and statements or events that contradict earlier events in the storyline.

Plot holes have been defined as "...contradictions in a screenplay... [which] can both be mentioned on paper or implied by the premise and universe of the screenplay."" https://en.wikipedia.../wiki/Plot_hole

There are no "mistakes" with the Hero of Ferelden. You just don't like the plot thread... where the plot puts your hero. Which is understandable, but still not a plot hole. Me, I'm sure they'll tie off this thread one way or another, since the whole "cure for the calling" has been addressed in several areas through several characters. Myself, I'm done with that hero, he was one way of looking at Thedas; I'm looking forward to more angles and more exposition.

Doesn't that require them to have incentive to snitch on you? I can't imagine a reason why they would, especially characters like Bull and Varric, both of whom are fairly good about keeping shady business to themselves. It doesn't matter though, because I always took Sera to that little meeting alone.

My guess is that they're going to have the Inquisitor go on a final mission into the Eluvians, and disappear.

They made sure to semi-kill off Hawke by saying he's disappeared again even if you kept him alive at the end of the Fade.

You'll get a grand send-off that will end with you going on a new quest into unknown realms, which in meta-terms means that you, the Inquisitor, will be effectively killed off in canon.

This way they won't have to deal with "WHAT ABOUT MAH INQUISITAH" cries when they start to work on Dragon Age 4.

"Oh what's that? You want your Inquisitor? Remember, he's stuck in another realm/dead!"

It also gives them the option to re-use the Inquisitor by having him miraculously return when the excrement goes south at the beginning of Dragon Age 4. Which would still be a ham-fisted method of forcing the Inquisitor to start from the ground up. (Inquisitor disbands Inquisition and heads into an Eluvian, then comes back to find out Thedas has completely forgotten him and gone to hell again)

Honestly, I'm hoping Bioware has a more creative solution because at this point I figure there are people like me who won't bother emotionally investing in their Hero/Inquisitor/Champion/Prophet/Herald or whatever new title each protagonist has because each time a new game comes out they'll just get neutered hardcore.

The Warden Commander, who at his or her best is a savvy politician/leader/commander that united Ferelden and is potentially the most powerful man/woman in the Kindgom, is stuck trying to prevent the Calling, which is such a daunting task that they can't contribute at all to the Inquisition when the entire world is literally going to hell.

Hawke just becomes a disposable asset. (What? The Champion of Kirkwall dies because he gets stuck in the Fade? The Champion of Kirkwall can't even survive a trip to Weisshaupt?)

Kinda like, oh yeah, the Inquisition consisting of Cassandra, Leliana, Josephine, and Cullen? There was also that guy that closed the Breach too, but he doesn't matter. YOU (the protagonist of Dragon Age 4) are the awesomest amazingest guy ever. Oh, the Hero of Ferelden and the Champion of Kirkwall? Who're they? Anyway, just have fun while you're at it, because you're going to have your balls cut off before Dragon Age 5. Gotta make room for the new protagonist. Yahddamean?

Sorry. "Fully automatic lyrium launchers". Absolutely not the same thing at all....

It's more like a quad barrel shotgun. Probably only effective at short range too (the projectiles are not exactly aerodynamic).

Define "snitch". I don't think any of them would tattle on the inquisitor specifically, but they might speak of it where someone might hear. Then there's Cullen or Josephine.

Unless Varric put it into novel form.  What, he wouldn't do that?  Ask Hawke about it sometime...heh...

I'm surprised on how soon the release of this DLC is coming out already. It only just felt recently that Descent came out.

Also Fem Inquisitor losing her **** and swearing out loud? Pretty hot.

If five minutes can get us some answers, then that's fine with me. I loved Witch Hunt, even if Morrigan was only in the last five minutes. The only downside was that it was not a relevant DLC for all types of Wardens.

Plus it answered absolutely no questions other than the gender of the baby -- if there was one. ;) The DLC had its good points, but the marketing was one big tease for people who were after 'answers'.

I just hope it's 1) optional; 2) rephrased so we could understand which dialogue option we're choosing. I'm not using that kind of language, and I'd rather the game did not choose it for me.

I don't think she'd rat you out...I think she'd PROBABLY be braggin' at the tavern how she pulped a guys head with her barefists.  If anything, she'd probably leave the Inquisitor out of it... :P

I agree dude, when Bioware smothered me with Dorian's homosexuality, I too felt that my own heterosexuality was threatened for a few minutes there, but don't you worry I won't let those SJW's take my rights as a straight male gamer either no sir! Keep up the good fight bro!

Dorian is an example of played subtle until the end, at which point you get hit by it with a sledgehammer for justifiable reasons. I never said anything about him as he was done well enough. Krem is the one I have issue with. But hey, you keep on preaching the lie that Dorian has something to do with Krem if you want, I'll just keep laughing.

As for the DLC, I'm happy we finaly get some answers from Solas, at least.

I was going to finally dive into TW3 this weekend. Then I saw the trailer and immediately started another playthrough of DA:I instead.

Sigh. I wish I could quit you, BioWare, I really do. Even though your games keep breaking my heart with the horrible things you people do to these characters. In any event, I already stocked up on hard liquor in the event the Trespasser goes terminal.

If the collective incompetence at the helms of Orlais and Ferelden dares to question my Inquisitor, I want to be able to go Colonel Jessep on them.

"I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way".

I'm guessing Solas had a secret stash of eluvians and he's repairing and opening them up in this DLC? Because I could have sworn that ones that are intact are suppose to be a rare magical artifact. Yet we seem to have more than enough now to make a DLC full of teleporting shenanigans...

Ekhm... Am I the only one to notice an armed, female Qunari in the beginning of the trailer, obviously commanding the big Qunari guy?

Since when are females members of the Antaam?

Since when are females members of the Antaam?

Could be Ben Hassrath?

Thing is the big guy looks like a Saarebas and Saarebas have to follow an Arvaarad (sort of Qunari templar)...

It's possible Arvaarad are part of the priesthood and not the army?

So you could see women in this role?
