Why do people have a negative reaction everytime i post? This is getting ridiculous.

Well you were pretty quick to do the "Witcher is better" post which many people are sick of since they are both good games in there own right and are not even competing with each other.

While Inquisition may not have reached Oscar-worthy levels in dialogue, it was certainly a "good read" or "good movie experience"... very much on par with well written scripts in a good adventure flick like Winter Soldier or The Kings' Men. Crud dialogue is... like "all your base are belong to us". Get some perspective, por favor.

The dialogue in this trailer is just downright cringeworthy though.

Because it is, hopefully Bioware got a lesson or two from Witcher 3 and implemented the things that game did well with this DLC and the next game.

As long as quizzy will be dead by the end of it(which seems so) , i'll be content.

I think the problem is not so much this is your opinion, it's that there's a bunch of people who are shall we say enthusiastic about promoting this opinion who appear to be wandering the boards like headless chickens, bleeding it all over the place.

I'm always amazed at how fast every bit of new content get ripped by fans before positive commenters roll in

My opinion, good to see someone decided to let the Inquisitor show more emotion, hopefully it stays that way for the whole DLC. Hope the other 3 VAs display this same intensity to. Can't wait

I liked it a lot, this was far, far, far away from anything "cringeworthy". A Will Ferrell movie... now THAT is cringe worthy. Or one of the newer Adam Sandler movies...

Listen, even as someone who didn't like Inquisition, loved Wild Hunt, and have no compunctions against criticizing both this game specifically and Bioware in general, I think you're a Negative Nancy. Why don't you try posting something more constructive next time, like "This element of the game sucked, so here's what they can do to improve upon it" or "I'd like to see more of X, Y, and Z in the future instead", or "This aspect seemed interesting, and I'm curious what they'll do with it in the future". You know, something that's semi-useful for the writers and developers as a basis for improvement.

Also, your constant MRA whinging is, quite frankly, aggravating. When your every second point is "Feminists are ruining gaming!", that's the sort of thing that doesn't really make friends and influence people, now is it? There's a lot of things wrong with Inquisition, and Bioware has a lot of work to do before they return to that game developer we all feel in love with. But ranting about social justice isn't helping matters.

I think another big factor to the success of this DLC is the size and time allotted in-game. Certainly the content looks to be the most exciting and interesting yet released, but will it be long enough for fans to accept it and give it the proper praise. I hope so, and I was not necessarily unpleased with The Descent or Jaws of Hakkon. I thought Hakkon had a decent sized amount of quality content, however I feel that the time spent making Jaws of Hakkon that there would be more fulfilling content than what it ended up being. But, no doubt, if Bioware can possibly make this DLC stretch on as long as Hakkon or longer, that there will be majority of pleased fans. They need to answer some of the games biggest unanswered mysteries as well and I think this upcoming DLC will do jus that and more!! Gotta have faith! Inquisition WILL go out with a BANG!lol

After the ME3 ending debacle, this will never happen. Not as "the only choice" anyway. That's where I put my money. You can be content right now. Go walk your Inquisitor into a horde of enemies and let them kill him (or her). They're dead. Now shut off your game.

So much for that super important Qunari alliance I suppose.

You mean the one where they basically state upfront that "we're only working with you right now because Corypheus is a bad man"?

I might have some sympathy for somebody who was new to the series and didn't quite know what the Qunari are, but for anybody who's played the previous games: you should have known better. This DLC will teach you.

I've made a couple threads that provided critiques and suggestions. The thing is that they get hijacked and either are closed or forgotten because they went offtopic.

My main thought upon seeing this trailer was "Thank the Maker that Orlais and Ferelden see that the Inquisition is a parasite on Southern Thedas.  Hopefully at the end of the DLC we'll be able to put it down for good."

You can't have it both ways; you can't go on about how you're giving the players so many options and allowing them to craft their own story and yadda yadda, only to pigeonhole them into something that's narratively convenient.

Indeed you can't, and that's why I'd prefer if the devs prioritized resources and effort toward crafting a coherent story instead of trying to sell "emergent narratives" whose execution will always be intrinsically limited by the medium.

2. You as a Witcher fan boy are the last one to criticizing on someone not emoting enough.

Exactly. I was actually surprised that the Qunari didn't end up being even more annoying. Maybe this DLC will make up for that (not that it was a huge issue but...).

Judging by Laidlaw interview i'd say inquisitor's dead after Trespasser , they don't want to repeat past time mistakes.

Don't compare ME to DA it isn't smart you know , one is Shepard through trilogy, the other all of writers stated their minds on the matter new protagonist each game.

I am going to use the mark to open the freaking heavens and take my place in the Golden City! Do a Throne of Bhaal choice, please! I needz it. I think the Inquisitor will actually die, they are to powerful for Thedas and it feels right going forward. It will be a huge if they actually go that direction with it though.
