Im happy that the qunari in the trailer is a female.

and if that's not an ogre with her...i wonder if its a specially bred qunari?

If its an ogre, i cant see the qunari harnessing and or exposing themselves to the taint. Although If them having dragon blood is true (which i believe it is), then its possible they are resistant to the blight because of it. (draconology quest we learn dragon blood has qualities).

If its a specially bred qunari, than i wonder if it has more draconic heritage than most. Makes for its size and obvious power.

Anyways, something for my human knight enchanter to sling spells at and for my soon to be Reaver Qunari warrior to hack and slash at.

The Qunari use magic.  They just prefer it to have tightly controlled parameters.  You know, just like sex.

There are plenty of dialogue options sure.  Just not a lot of variations in tone.

 S&M jokes incoming.

No not this , i think if you give more attention you would've seen that their's a lot of folks who didn't enjoy role playing the inquisitor.

You did enjoy a bland character , Kudos to you , HOF and Hawke both far superior than him in everything.

The inquisitor is what you make them. So if they are bland, you have no one to blame but yourself. Unlike Shepard or hawke they are not predefined, and do not have a set personality.

Then why constantly go on about "choices and consequences" if they're not going to give players much of either? You can't have it both ways; you can't go on about how you're giving the players so many options and allowing them to craft their own story and yadda yadda, only to pigeonhole them into something that's narratively convenient.

"I like the way you die, knife-ear."

*stab*

"I like the way you, die, shem!"

I don't. But even if I did, there's things that are easier to work with than whether or not the protagonist dies or not - because if they're alive, now we have to start coming up with all sorts of bullshit about why they can't be part of the story anymore.

Hawke is less of a big deal cuz he kind of is just some guy, but the Warden is a big ****** deal and having them still be alive but not take part in future stories is very contrived.

This looks really cool!  The chance to actually see how things have gone in two years is really cool.  The Qunari attacks via Elluvian opens some serious questions (how they found them, how they figured them out, how they mapped them, etc.  And my boy Solas makes a return!  Looks like some nice stuff.

No much hope that Bioware will be faithful to their own lore after watching the trailer. There was this antagonistic female Qunari popping out from an Eluvian and she looked as ugly and dull as most of the femquisitors I've seen on some the threads on this forum (and she was purple instead of gray). You know, that very tall woman with horns and inexpressive eyes. Nothing like those mysterious and fearsome creatures with strange eyes they accomplished to create for DA2, like

The Arishok,

or Salit,

1. Salit has eye of the current Qunari.

2. Qunari have multiple shades of Gray and bronze.

Salit!!!???? You wish. You see, that's the problem when people use too much headcanon. They start hallucinating.

What's next? you gonna tell me that the inquisitor has the most interesting personality of all the DA protagonist? (because the voices in your head told you so?

Most likely Sten, the Arishok and this Qunari woman are not all related to the same type of Qunari and there are many types out there. Similar, but different like humans.

Steroids.  LOTS of steroids.  POSSIBLY why they are so angry...though I REALLY hope they don't get the Ogre Grab and Punch skill.  THAT was always a pain in the butt...or, rather, the face.  I saw Dawn of the Seeker, btw...Cass was an Ogre killing psycho...so was that just a tall tale, or did she spend the next decade or two being scowling and stabbing books instead of training? :P   It MIGHT explain her disdain for Varric, who happens to be an author...or was HE the one who told the tale Dawn of the Seeker?

Not really sure what point are you trying to make with those pictures but IB's one eye has nothing even remotely resembling Salit's eyes or any DA2 Qunari's eyes. At best, you are just proving my point about excessive headcanoning.

I heard there was DLC regarding Solas so I came back to the forums. I've been waiting for DLC that concludes the story for a while now. Glad were finally getting it.

Yeah Solas will be there but they won't wrap up his story in it , he probably will be carried to future installments , the main plot is trail for your quizzy and what seems qunari invasion , there's also a patch that will add a wardrobe and nug king statue that will sync your collectibles across playthroughs after finishing the game , good stuff.

Look at the eyes. In the whites. Salit and Bull's are clear closer to white. The Arishok's is blackish. I can zoom it in if you like.

Its not, its freaking amazing. DA:I in general had amazing dialogue.

The dialogue in this trailer is objectively bad and the delivery is over the top. It's soap opera quality. I did like quite a bit of the dialogue in DAI, but this trailer does not have good dialogue.

I have always had a theory in the back of my mind that the Inquisitor would die either in DAI or the next Dragon Age (4>). Honestly, I don't have a strong opinion on the matter as it would appear as if he/she was no longer needed after closing all the rifts. And honestly, who thought the destiny would be a full and happy ending when the Inquisitor has an ancient evil engraved in his hand that he acquired from a demon as powerful as Corypheus and acquired in the most unruly of fashion. I kinda figured that consequences would eventually catch up to the IQ especially since the full and true power of the Mark is unknown to all and "acts up" on its own. He/She cant simply whisk that away, its there and I assumed that this price of power and ability to seal the rifts would ultimately be death. I could be wrong but I just cant foresee any major plot indications of why Bioware would have to keep Inquisitor a part of the story. I believe in my opinion that Bioware will choose the next protagonist as a character that has already been established and one that cannot be created sort of like Hawke in DA II. I could be wrong but I believe that if they continue to make it optional to create whatever type of hero you want is only going to complicate the story and create issues for future titles. I am ok with that, although I would like to see the return of the Hero from Origins.

Awesome!  Thanks for the link, btw.

He may live, but by Jove, I want my Lavellan to bust him in the nose.  SHE, if NO ONE ELSE, earned that privilege.  Because she's earned the right to come out swearing like Samuel L. Jackson (even if it is in Elven) and pop him in the nose for bailing on her AFTER breaking up and leaving her with a ticking mystical timed death mark on her hand.

You mean you're shocked the Inquisitor has a personality? lol

Seriously though, she's lost it and for a good reason too. She's fed up. She's worn a mask, played the Game, charmed people, was accused of murder, became the Herald against her wishes and nearly gave her life to save everyone more than once, and now she's being picked on by those same people because they fear she has too much power? I'd lose it if I was her. I say it's about time.

It's not like it had lots of dialogues in the first place, and they weren't bad, it's a trailer with monologues basically.
