Hey 2 questions for you the first is does Codex Entries crossover with the GNug?And in the new patch did you fix the buggy Codex Entries and if not would it not be fixed by just adding the bugged entries to the Codex Merchants?

Hello, no as I said only the things in the blogs carry over, having codexs carry over would create an experience disadvantage, since you generally get exp from codices. Plus a lot of codex entries are controlled by plot points and have odd plots would cause all sorts of anarchy.
As for the codices the only 2 I am aware of is the "mystery" tutorial one and Alistair. The former was not fixed, the latter was.

Hello, I was wondering if the storage duplication exploit was fixed with this patch.
Also, thank you for taking time to answer these questions ![]()

I wonder if the bug that prevents you from doing the Ser Barris' war table missions if you have conscripted the templars has been fixed.
That's a glitch? I assumed it was supposed to work that way

No
I am also not going to sit here, and answer whether something is fixed or not, youll see if it is or isn't fixed by the next patch soon enough.

Yes, it was possible before patch 2. The promotion with the templars conscripted have different dialogue than with the promotion with the templars as allies.

I'm looking forward to Nug Game+ and a reason to go to my bedroom more often. I also like the idea of Trespasser. It goes with a theory of mine that once the world-threatening evil is done people will remember their prejudices (esp. for elves, dwarves, qunari and mages). Plus the whole 'no good deed goes unpunished' thing.

The Alistair codex was fixed? I'll have to double-check that, though I think he's dead in my current pt, executed at the Landsmeet thanks to my nasty, conniving Warden (who exists only in DAK land, since I could never actually play that).

Next patch, and I dont think it is retroactive, just from now on it will work

Thank you Bryan. I think I would rather not read about poor Alistair's treatment at the hands of Anora and my ruthless Warden, anyway. ![]()

I wish this patch was available for last gen consoles, that way all these things from my saves on the 360 would be available on my ps4.
Also, nursery seeds do not carry over?
I believe so

Given we dont support mods, I have no idea really, but based on the past, mods will be broken for a few days after a patch. While the mod creators fix their tools.

I don't use mods so don't know if a preset hairstyle from vanilla gets auto-defaulted to when removing hair mods. Seeing the contents of this patch I believe you won't be able to be able to load the character (or play it properly at the least) until you uninstall the mods from the game. You'll need to wait for mod creators to update their stuff to work with the newest patch, or not download the patch at all and wait until they'll work with it.

I have mods installed and have (so far) always been able to load save games regardless. Usually what will happen is simply that the mods won't take until you download an updated version of Mod Manager.

aha, gotcha. I just know a friend has trouble getting stuff in the game to load/render properly when she has mods in and recently patches. But, she does use a lot of mods might just be stress on her computer system or something.

Well, with too many mods installed you run the risk of having them conflict between one another. I recall I once had around 150 mods installed for DA:O. There were a few conflicts. ![]()

Gods I remember my skyrim days. trying to get 210+ mods to work together haha.
But nah, I've seen her play when I visit, it's only during the timeframe between patch and mods being compatible with the patch that it happens. It only takes one mod to cause problems though!
So glad I'm waiting until all patches are done for DAI before hitting the mods. I prefer to patch right away and prefer not to wait on mods haha.
Then I'm going to wait the new patch to create my character
Remember to turn off automatic update/patch downloading and installing before the patch comes out and you won't need to worry about a surprise install ![]()

Praise the Golden Nug!
It is our new idol and bears our hard-earned labor for all to see.
Seriously, after complaining at how the game randomly releases its class-related items I really didn't want to play other races. The Legion of the Dead armor was a prize I have long coveted but I've never had a dwarven warrior until recently. The Golden Nug solves those problems. Elven rogues are also a turn off for me, even though I want to try crafting the Dalish scout armor.
So this way I can even backtrack on my Trevalyan mage, re-farm the rare Tier 3 materials, and still have the staff schematics I've accumulated. The Staff of Corruption and First Enchanter staff are too good to pass up.
