The only problem I see is that so many people complain about this situation ONLY when straight males perceive they have "less." I never hear quite such a ruckus when straight females, or gay/lesbian PCs have less.

BSN have a dozens of threads about add some "gay knight" and others from gays, straight females, lesbians who ask many Li..and many straight males is support them before and still

those threads not have any rant as when straight males(especially those who is not play as humans nonmages) not like what they have and ask some different and more options who would be not a worst than others have, because they always have a best piece of pie and more and different options in DA games compare to straight males,

and when straight males ask something there is always a rant and gays, lesbians and straight females, especially many who ask  some for themselves said that "straight males does not need that"..they always try to shut those theads by trolling and "funny pics".

And for what sake some even talk about Me in DA thead, DA is not a Me or jade empire or baldur gate..it is even worst than someone talk about Witcher

You clearly weren't here for Mass Effect 3 then.

I've been here since Baldur's Gate.

Cba to read this argument any more. But I am a straight female.
I LOVED Dorian so I rolled a male character (I never play males) and I fell utterly in love with that male inquisitor, he's probably my favorite one. I also flirted a lot with Cassandra and half debated romancing her.
I also debated romancing Sera, as I said I'm straight - but Sera is awesome!!!

I'm a straight female and I didn't like my options in DAI. But I also can see that if you wanted to play as a straight male non human your choices weren't exactly grand either. I do think it was unfair that you couldn't marry if you were in a straight male relationship with Cass. I don't think you could marry Josie either?

No, you can't marry Josie either. You can't even discuss it with her.  :crying:

Yeah this I agree with. WTF wasn't Josie a marriage option?  Apparently you can't even ask and get shot down.

Outside of the Josie thing which I find weird

I still don't consider it unfair

I don't know it's kind of bleh that you can only marry Sera and Cullen on screen. But I at least got Bull to agree to marriage so I was happy. XD

Spoiler

To, poor Josie continues to be the most boring, uneventful romance.

I found it odd we couldn't marry Cassandra or Josephine. Cassandra was delighted to hear the possible news that the Inquisitor to marry Cullen, imagine how taken a back (and cute) it would be to marry her.

Super boring, she's loyal, she's not insane, she doesn't lie to you, she doesn't abandon you, she doesn't disappear on you...she doesn't even try to murder you.

That was sarcasm, but different strokes. I found Cassandra's romance, what I've seen of it on YouTube, of no interest. These things are subjective, you must realize

Also, Cassandra can leave the Inquisition to become Divine whether she's romanced or not so I'm filing that under abandonment.

My biggest problem with Josephine isn't her personality, which is just fine, but her egregious lack of content. She has the same amount as the other advisers, despite the fact that they had two previous games each to build them up, which leaves her with the shallowest treatment of anyone in your inner circle, and the minimalism of the romance is even worse.
