I'll have to put my weight behind Solas. No other romance is so potentially meaningful and linked up with important story threads and themes than Solas', especially if you're a mage.

The Iron Bull's romance is not very meaningful. Its just f**king and drinking alcohol. That is why I did not recommend him.

Solas. Great tie-in to the story, to the DA Universe, and to Elven lore. Also, his voice is gorgeous, and the romance itself certainly doesn't lack for emotion.
However, if you really, really are against the idea of your Lavellan's heart being ripped out, stomped on, set on fire, then (probably by the end of Trespasser) its ashes being put through a blender ... then maybe Cullen or Blackwall?

Solas. Definitely Solas. He's a bit more hesitant with his initiating a romance with you because of personal reasons, but ultimately moves past that since he realizes that he doesn't want to lose you. Also the his final scene is touching and sad depending on how you play... and because... TRESPASSER DLC!
